My trainer recently got me onto taking No Explode. I just this weekend ran out of my first container. One of my buddies at the gym tonite said he was told its a good idea to wait two weeks before you get back on it again. Just to clear your system out.

Anybody ever heard this or can confirm this? Just curious. Thanks..

You cycle off of it to regain it's potency and effectiveness.

Is this worth taking? I'm only 17 and I think I read somewhere before it's for 18+ ?

Any downsides to this supplement?

Any supplement besides Protein, that I know of,should be cycled. By the way that No Explode stuff is overpriced compared to other companies equivalents from what I hear.

I highly recommend trying to perfect a steady diet before supplementing but,to each their own.

I think the stuff is excellent.

Some people may get tremors and heart palpitations though.

Pick up some Nos Blast from Vitamin World, it's the same thing for half the price. I used NOXCG3 then I switched to NoXplode and now I use Nos Blast and I don't realize any difference between the three other than they all work. My bench went from 135 to 185 and dead from 205 to 315.

Vitmain World online has 2lbs of NOS Blast for $40.
NO Explode is $32.50 for 1.8lbs at Allstarhealth.com.

Massnutrition has NO explode for $26.95. I don't know what they charge for shipping though.

Just get plain creatine, whichever separate amino acids you want (taurine, glutamine, whatever), and a good vitamin/mineral that last for months for the same price as one of these.

I get protein, vitamins, and fish oil from allstarhealth.com and taurine and BCAAs from trueprotein.com. Allstarhealth i think is better for protein because shipping is $6 no matter how much you order so it comes out cheaper if you buy a bunch at once.

Most of the crap in that explode thing is going to make no difference.

I only cycle off creatine ethyl ester when I get lazy during a week off from the gym anyway. I don't think there's been any proof that it even matters just like the creatine "load phase." Some say do, some say don't.. so i just don't care.

And definitely don't be like my co-worker who ONLY takes some crazy ass sugar/creatine marketing mix and that's it. Doesn't eat much protein or calories in genearl, does half reps of bench saying "his friend" said it doesn't matter, and thinks he's gonna get huge

I've tried liquid and powder creatines and glutamine, zinc supplements, all that stuff...couldn't see or feel any difference. Well, maybe some water weight gain and the zinc supplements helped me sleep better and gave me a hard on, but nothing in the weight lifting department.

NO Explode absolutely changed my workouts.
I kind of loathed working out before...now I have to force myself not to overtrain because I'm enjoy it so much now.

For me it's the caffeine rush that allows me to lift more weight. It's like being on crystal meth

It's also cheaper than caffeine energy drinks. And the rush is much more potent.
I'm sure all the other stuff they add in it is just mumbo jumbo junk...but for me the caffeine lift it provides is priced the same or better than other caffeine drinks.

Let me ask you this, before you took the supplements did you have a 'negative' or 'so-so' attitude towards taking them in the first place?

Did you know of anyone that took NO Explode prior to you taking it?

Have you tried eating several servings of fruits 1-2 hours prior to lifting?

I had a good attitude. I was hoping they all would work. As a hard gainer, any little bit helps.

There was/is plenty of hype for creatine, zinc, glutamine et al too.
I was pretty stoked to try all of that stuff. But it really didn't do much for me.
I could work out a little bit longer with the creatine, but I was still struggling.

No.
I sort of remember seeing a post about it in a bodybuilding forum. Googled it, and came across a bunch of positive and negative reviews on it. So I figured I'd take a gamble and give it a try.

I'm well versed in stimulants. I've done way more cocaine and crystal meth than I'm proud to say  The caffeine rush isn't a placebo. You get a genuine speed rush out of the stuff. As for the other stuff, that's in there...I haven't a clue if the stuff works or doesn't, or makes it more potent than regular caffeine. I don't really have a clue what the nitrous stuff is all about, or what it's suppose to do.

I did an experiment a couple of months ago when I ran out of it. I figured I'd try off-the-shelf caffeine energy drinks to see if they worked better. I kind of was hoping they would because they're available at every convenience store.

Well, it took around two "tall boy" cans of Rockstar orange to get the same caffeine kick I get out of three scoops of NO Explode. I couldn't work out as long using the energy drink. I tried this for a month with Rockstar, Redbull and a couple of other brands.

Here's an idea, maybe I can chew on some coffee grounds. Yeah, sounds great! Thanks!
