I’ve seen it said here that a woman may return after a period of no contact only to get more validation from you.

What’s the best tactic for showing interest without giving to much validation?

On her initial contact be positive and receptive to answering her questions, but don’t expand the convo with your answers or statements to the point of being completely open ended until she’s made her positive intentions known to you, then apply the above @Hank Moody game plan…
