my parents didnt feel like letting me get my license.... so no im allmost 18.. in august... but now they would pay for it... but its less then 6 months... so why ****ing do it... its ruining my game with the ladies... what should i do?

but it would only be my permit... not license... and couldnt drive unless with a parent..... but ill be moving to east Yorkshire at the end of summer maybe.... how are the laws in england wescott??

Oh sorry man. Didn't realise how things worked in the US.

Yeah, you have to apply for your provisional liscence, one you get that, you can have lessons with an instructor. He prepares you for your practical test, but you also have to take a theory test (before you take the practical). Only with these two parts passed, you get your main drivers liscence. You can only drive on your own with a full licsence.

With a provisional, you can drive with a qaulified driver over the age of 21.

In the grand scheme of things, what does a few months matter?

No doubt, someone will say that a woman who only dates men with their own automobile is materialistic. Not true. Having your own automobile is a sign of independence, and it's practical. I personally refuse to date a woman who doesn't have her own automobile. Even a $500 P.O.S. is better than no automobile at all.

If you can learn driving off your friends, then do so... and then when you're 18 I think you can go for a license without a required class taken.

Yea, gas is expensive... but pimpin costs money.

Would you really rather have mom take you and her? I have my bucket 96 Jetta sitting in front of my house.. its a piece of crap. But my stereo is so loud, things break. Pair that with weed or ecstasy, and really, you have the funnest nights in that car, starting from the front seat to the back seat =)

It pays to have your own car, a nice one.

actually, if you are good with cars, (or have friends that are)

take a trip to a local salvage/junkyard!

i went to one last week (I can't drive, i'm 15 lol)

but they had 2 mercedes (E230 and a 300Diesel) which were very nice. (have large back seats for whatever.)
the guy said he'd sell them for $500! (each)

also, they had a few mitsubishi eclipses, and a civic

however these might not be in your local junkyard, you will never know what you can find in yours!
