A woman who is after me just joined a group on facebook with this name: "Why Can't All Guys Be Like The Guys In Nicholas Spark's Books?"

Any of you guys know how are the Nicholas Sparks men characters? I suppose complete AFC's, but just wanted to know a bit more.

He writes romance novels that impose unrealistic expectations of behavior on men, behavior that women THINK they want, but when they actually experience said behavior, they are repulsed by it.

It's one of those cases of "the thought of this guy is better than actually being with him".

With that being said, I reccommend reading a romance novel. Totally gay, but get over it and f*cking do it so that you have another perspective of what kind of sh*t women read. Romance novels are the number one best selling genre, you better read one or two popular ones so you know what kind of sh*t women romantisize. Capitalize on that sh*t. It also helps you be more interesting and well rounded, as well as being "chick crack" material like astrology and whatnot.

I am not even going to quote the above garbage post (I hope it gets deleted), but you've got to be fvcking kidding me.

Recommending a grown ass man Nicholas Sparks novels to get an idea of what the type of romance women are looking for?

Absolutely not. Hemingway who is way too macho for most women wrote brilliant literature with romance involved. Read a fvcking book like, "The Sun Also Rises" not some commercial romance novel by Nicholas Sparks.

FALSE. I did not specifically recommend a Nicholas Sparks novel. Try again.

Indeed I am, to a certain degree. I recommended reading ONE or TWO of them, however. Just like you should check out a Cosmopolitan every once in a while for a perspective of popular reading material for women.

I am NOT saying go out and read a bunch of romance novels/womens magazines; that's going to turn you into a fruitcake. I am NOT saying that you should study these publications at the same level of intensity as you do with learning how to be successful with women.

These books are designed to stimulate women, and you will be able to identify the writing style that stimulates women. You also gain a perspective on what exactly it is about men that women go batsh*t for, or are at least socially conditioned to go batsh*t for. If you don't think gaining that kind of perspective is important, than that is your own opinion and I respect it.

That being said, a book that a popular "guru" recommends is "Bad Boy" by Olivia Goldsmith.

Plenty of dumb chicks read that drivel. It's important to understand how the average Americanized woman thinks.

Hint: Not very much.

most women I know dont read those kinda books. This may have been more common in the 80s and 90s, but hell because of Internet and Cable tv not really anyone reads anymore.

Now its Twilight and the Notebook

Girls in their 20s reading? ahaha and when exactly are they reading, while facebook is refreshing or while the cellphone battery is recharging?
Probably they read books so they can talk about them when they meet their friends for the lady night out...or more probably they speack about ****s,****tails and clothes.

The number of girls who read are very few, those who read romance novels even less.
Girls who read this stuff are like the guys who play wow, those who need a break from reality cause reality is not that great in that moment,it means women 30+.

Since jaylan is posting in this thread I hope we could have some detailed info right from the pink zone.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

Take a compliment when someone likes you Miss Jaylan. Personally I disagree with his choice. But hey, some guys like feminist chicks and pegging.
