Last night, some girl was hitting on me at a party, and I didn't want her. It was something about the way she talked that reeked of desperation.

But I believe in treating all girls politely, no matter if they're complete stuck-up *****es or insecure little babies. So here's what I did:

She asked me if my friend was normally in a bad mood, and I respond:

"No, but I am."

After that, her interest for me cooled off fast - and trust me, I was HAPPY about it!

NEG yourself. It's the easiest way to lose an unwanted girl. It makes way more sense than the other method of "showing too much interest" etc.

Best answer here! She clearly knows here that you're not interested in her! Also, you could just do the ignoring thing, (i.e don't ask for her number, don't call her if you she gave it to you, make excuses/etc, but you could end up hurting her feelings this way!)
