Nice guys get the short end of the stick because real men grab the large end.
Nice guys are yes men at work. Women can't stand yes men because they never get ahead. They do what they are told, by their boss and their woman.
Do not confuse being a Gentleman or being honorable with being nice. Even if she mistreats him, a Gentleman still walks a girl to her car. But only a nice guy would act apologetic or offer to take her out again unless she worked to get him back.

Not true. A Gentlemen holds doors because that is the proper, time honored thing to do. He ignores bad behavior (though occasionally calling rude women on it with a sarcastic 'you're welcome') and feminists get pissed and claim nobody needs them.
