Let's get the ball rolling with free agency discussion.......

My Bears signed Julius Peppers, Chester Taylor and Brandon Manumaleuna. Not to mention the signing of offensive coordinator Mike Martz, who lead the high scoring Rams in 1999. I actually have hope for next season, although I would still like us to sign safety O.J Atogwe.

I like foot ball as much as the next guy but it's way too early to be talking about the next season just yet. Combine, Draft and Free agency don't really amount for too much until we see how things gel up in training camps and pre season.

Besides, we're in the eve of March Madness which is one of the most watched sporting events in the US. Hard to think about off season anything when the dance is about to begin.

As a general fan with no rooting interest, I like what the Jets did in getting corner Antonio Cromartie - pairing him up with Revis is going to be lethal

As for the Peppers signing, thumbs up but I would like to see the Bears get another weapon for Cutler.

And I am very curious on where Tebow goes in the draft. Never have I seen so many haters

I was hoping the Eagles would sign Peppers; but apparently he was just using them to get more money out of the Bears!

Now, im hoping they sign Nick Collins. And unload McNabb for a #1 if possible. Or Vick for a #3. We can't possibly go into a season with $22+ million in QB Salary.

those guys the bears got are not going to get them in the playoffs. the te they got was useless. they got olsen and do they still have desmond clark? peppers will help a little and they got chester taylor, who is a good 3rd down back but forte is one of the best recieving RB's in the league.

I'm not completely sold on Cromartie being a shutdown corner, he played like sh1t last year, compared to his 2007 Pro Bowl year. If he does revert back to form though, who is going to be able to pass the ball against the Jets?

Peppers is a game-changing defensive end, and a freak of nature. Chester Taylor has never been the number one guy (bar the 15 games he started in 2006), so his legs are fresh, and he is one of the best 3rd down backs in the league. Manumaleuna is the best blocking tight end in the league, which is a major part of Mike Martz' offensive philosophy. Will we get into the playoffs just because of these 3 signings? Hell no. We still need a free safety, cornerback, wide receiver & offensive linemen.

I couldn't care less about the NFL until Welker gets back in action. Also, I would like to see Tebow get knocked-out cold. The guy just comes off as a loud mouth retard. Good luck to him if he can think he can act the same way in the NFL.... thats if he even makes it on the field.
