Pats have been scary good so far.

Barring major injuries, I don't see anyone hanging with 'em.

Might they be the first team ever to win every game by 10 points or more?

Not likely, they'll probably take an unofficial week off or 2, or just have a sloppy game. But come the playoffs...

I can't believe how fu<king stupid football players are, they've got the world by the balls and they do stupid sh!t like this. Not to mention Vick, Tank Johnson, Pacman etc. I would kill to be in their position, and they piss it all away.
Yeah, amazing.

Just like how many supermodels, actresses, etc. who trade on their appearance piss it away with smoking, drugging, too much tanning, etc.

SPOILER ALERT

I haven't watched the game yet but fu<k, 4 of our starting defensive backs didn't play against the #1 pass offense in the league. Although i'm not very impressed that Griese threw 3 picks, considering he's a veteran. All we can hope for is that it was a bit of rust (he hasn't started in what, 2 years?) and that our D recovers within the next month or so.

The Bucs already look to win the NFC South. But Vick's gone, and the Saints stink, so that is not saying much. We will see if the Bucs are any good next week at Indy. Someone has to surprise Indy. Denver did today...for about ten minutes.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.

Everyone who is not a Pats fan it seems has a distaste for them. af is from 'BAAH-stan' and of course loves the 'PAAHts.'

I'm also a Kurt Warner fan, and it is good to see him doing well in Phoenix.

Bears are terrible. There injured. They don't have a quarterback. No running game. The bears will be lucky to win 8 games this year.

Re:

Holy Crap...what da fark is up with football?

Nice BOUNCE back Donovan.

Woot...Go bears!

Seems like everyone just had good "seasons" and goes to prove the ability of Peyton and Brady far and away above all else.

Hatin'...you're just jealous of the Pats. Most organizations will never amount to a dime next to Kraft, and that's the fault of the OWNER first, and then on down.

Speaking of owners...The Chargers would be WAY better had they not DUMPED Marty for Turner. At least they'd be kicking ass right now and be near guaranteed for 12 games. Now, who the heck knows?

How I see things...

People assume WR's will mature by year 3/4. But it doesn't always happen. It has happened to players like TO, Chad Johnson, etc, but not ALL top picks become WR's. In most cases, the leagues top teams DILUTED their roster, rather than increasing it in ability. The Pats are MASTERS of filtering out talent and bringing more than they lose. They've kept intact their O-lne, D-line, Brady, and bolstered a team that went to the Playoffs, with arguably the BEST core of WR's (all news one playing right now), with even better players.

Sammy Morris, Wes Welker, Randy Moss, Kyle Brady, and Donte Stallworth are PHENOMS. And...ding! PROVEN! Most NFL teams go get 1 high priced, proven player who had 1 career year, overpay, kill the salary cap, and sell a bunch of jerseys...then LOSE. I don't think we've seen as much as we had in the past years. Sure Nate Clements went to the 49ers, but that was something of a dumb move, too, b/c 1 player DOES not make a team.

On a side nite...where would Brady be stat wise if he had WR's like this all the previous years? How many close games would be won much easier? Does this end the Peyton vs Brady debate? Peyton has had top tier Wr's since he started...Brady JUST GOT his.

People just love to hate. Why not just switch teams? Most of you hatin' were here or rooting for the Pats when they SUCKED. When Bledsoe was always on the CUSP of GOOD/GREAT, but would simply lose it and screw up. I always knew watching him he was an INT or FUMBLE away from a lost game, so I'm thankful for Brady and his ability. He'll be here forever. Those grumbling don't know what it was before, or has never had a great QB to root for, so can't appreciate it. They only see VIDEOGATE, and their own insignificantly crappy team. But it isn't the players...it's the coaches + the gm + the owner.

This past weekend was a particularly crappy day offensively. I looked across the fantasy games and few points were tallied, whereas last week, some teams had record point totals, indicating alot of HIGH box scores going around. I know Daunte had a good day, as did Crayton, Romo, etc...but they are very confined totals.

Plus, there's not a whole lot of offensively productive RB's running around. The past few years we had hardline debates on LT vs LJ vs SA...and this past year even Frank Gore was included. People thought Ronnie Brown or Carnell Williams would be the next wave of LT or even Cedric Beson, but I'm not impressed in the least.

No clue what's up, but it goes to show what separates the men from the boys.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

Anyway, I've never been sold on NE, and why should I? Unlike the 70's Steelers, the 80's 49ers, and the 90's Cowboys, the millenium Pats have dominated NO ONE. Yes, the Pats have a dynasty, but compared to the dominant clubs of yesteryear, NE, indeed, represents a dynasty junior. ]

Your totally wrong. The way the salary cap is structured it is almost impossible to have a dynasty. Back in those days you could hold on to all your players. The pats dynasty is just as impressive if not more impressive than the past dynasties.

That is why you see teams going from 4-12 to 12-4 with in a year. Back in the 70's,80's,90's that was not as common.

The pats have a dynasty. And I feel they will win it this year. I don't like the pats, but I have to give it to them.

1. Indy
2. Dallas
3. New England (despite opponents combined record of 3-9)
4. Green Bay
5. Tampa Bay

I wish, but Seattle beat Tampa Bay. Plus the Bucs just lost a starting tackle and their feature back, both out for the season:

The upside is that Ernest Graham has played well. They said on mnf tonight that the Bucs asked about Corey Dillon, who declined. I don't think Tampa needs to go and buy a big-name running back, but they probably will at least try.

Oh, you can't see the Colts winning? They have only:

beaten New England 3 straight times

started the past 3 seasons 13-0, 9-0, and now 7-0

just killed a very good Jacksonville team on the road on Monday night and then came back, on the road, and killed a good Carolina team 6 days later. That is hardly ever done-having to play a road game after a road Monday night game

the best record in football the past 7 years

just won the super bowl

3rd in the league in defense, 4th in offense

have won 12 straight going back to last year

not lost at home in forever

playing at home against NewEngland

OK :(

What i think players and coaches are getting upset about is having huge leads and leaving your starters in and throwing the ball instead of running the ball and killing the clock.Instead ,they are going for bombs and every incomplete stops the clock and prolongs the embarrassment. I posted this yesterday and i will say it again, there were 3 blowouts yesterday (SD,NO and Ind) and go look at their play by play late in the games and then look at the Pats late in the game and those teams didn't have near the lead the Pats did. You run the ball and run the clock and get out of there, its an unwritten rule. Especially the Pats who have had their share of PR problems lately. They had excellent chances to prove to the world that they dont need video to be dominant and the media and other teams and their fans would have been in awe of them, Instead they choose to run up scores in garbage time and further tarnish their image as a franchise and make a bunch of enemies and i am afraid it will last a long time. If they keep this up, no matter what they accomplish this season, the perception will be it is tarnished and it didn't have to be that way.

Next week's colts/pats game looks to decide home-field advantage when the two meet in January. That second meeting will be a bigger game, even though this game is the biggest of the regular season.

Ideally, I would like to see New England stomp Indy (gasp, yes I said that), and even go undefeated in the regular season. Then when the Colts go into Foxboro for the Jan 2008 AFC Championship game in the snow, and Tony Dungee's underdog Colts dethrone the undefeated Pats, that, and the second consecutive Super Bowl Championship that would shortly follow, would be the crowning moments of Tony Dungee's career, and it would become obvious to everyone that he is the best coach in the NFL.

I'm psyched for the Pats/Colts game.

For all those who love to bash the Pats.....keep it coming. The pats just use it all for ammo on the field to destroy everything in there way. And we have a HUGE grudge against the Colt from last season after they knocked us out. Those scars still haven't healed and I believe the Pats are going to play even more balls to the wall football because of it.

52-7 against the Redskins. Who does that? Seriously...
