I knew you were all correct from the beginning about the only way to proceed. As hard as it was, I (roughly) followed the course and now everything is turned around. It doesn't make me feel happier though.

You know, you speak/type in vague terms some times and it doesn't really make for a clear picture.

dont answer any text that does not push your progress forward with her.
Yes, good advice.

I am thinking that if you are willing to be drawn into text exchanges (or any other kind) with a woman who bewilders you, you have already lost.
Every damn time that I have gotten into one of these mindgames with a hot/cold woman I never got out - and I ended up resentful, anguished and confused.
ON the other hand, all the women who have shown legitimate interest in me did so unambiguously, and our connection flowed and flourished.

It comes down to this - if you have to ask a third person ( or post here) whether 'she' likes you, the answer is " not so much ".

You're right. It's because I think in vague/abstract ways and when I come here and start to type, the answers I'm looking for become more apparent. My main problem here wasn't so much with texting as it was the way I was relating to people, especially one person.

The truth is that I like her a lot, and was having a really hard time keeping myself emotionally unattached. Specifically frustrating is that she's six time zones away and no matter how successful with texting/email/phone I am, the opportunities to see her are far apart over time.

My other plates are spinning. If I want to go pick up more, there's no problem there.

The main difficulty right now is transitioning between understanding all the great feedback here and internalizing it. This comes slowly, but every day is better.
