Newbies apparently need a big sign pointing to The Bible so I made one

Sick of newbies asking the same old questions that have been answered in the bible? Tired of typing 'RTFB'? Me too.

So I knocked this up in Flash. The site is welcome to it if they want to cut down on the amount of samey old threads.

I won't get into a Wyndows vs. Linux fight, but, uh, FF for Linux is not the same as FF for Wyndows.

Point is: Nighthawk did a great job, I salute him, but: Don't forget about some dude in San Salvadore that could not get the bootleg version of XP and is in the same boat as the rest of us: His **** is in a bind about some *****.

I know these dudes, dude. Get it? I'm there......Now....

I'm using Ubuntu Dapper (its a very popular Linux distribution) and it looks fine.

You just have to install the mozilla-flash plugin package or whatever its called in your systems repositories. It works after that.

Works in Opera, Konqueror, Firefox, Mozilla Suite.. everything.

Well Sh*t, Call_Me_Daddy: I'm not a total ******* (pretty close) so I do appreciate it. We are using fedora 5 and having probs. Ugg, hate command line sh*t. Don't like to be root all the time.

Ok, before this is moved to the nerd section I will say that, yes, many newbies totally rot our brains with the same questions over and over and if they just read half of the bible they could sarge and actually contribute rather than ask for "easy" solutions that they will never take.

Grinder, I agree this site should be accessible to all, and if anyone else has any difficulty viewing Flash I'd like to hear.

Anyone else here use Flash or Dreamweaver? PM me and we can swap tips and stuff. Like in Dreamweaver, how do I get the above link to pop up as a neat little mini-page?

And there should not be any problems viewing flash. Everyone has flash.
