newbie looking for some advice

What up guys, I have been reading the site for a few weeks, and I have to say POOK, you are a mother******* genius. Anyway, I have a problem.....

Last night I was talking to one of my girl-friends (whom I am extremley attracted 2), and she says she sees me like the overprotective brother she never had, and that getting into an intimate realtionship with me would be weird. Do you guys think I should keep trying to get her, or should I just move on? Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Read he bible and you should figure out what to do. Girls just don't do that to me. I mean I make them feel safe but definitely turn them on. If I see a girl thinks of me as a friend, I do not persue it.

Haha, i was in a similar sitation a few years ago. Only a couple of months ago i found out i look just like the girl's brother, and that was the main reason nothing happened I say move on.

My problem is that I got stuck in the "gay friend" role while I was still AFC, and now I am trying to get out of it, but I dont want to lose her as a friend. I realize that she and I will never be more than friends, but I dont want to be the one she comes to when she is having problems with her bf or whatever.

Any advice on how I can get out of the "I ***** to you about how horrible my bf is and tell you how sweet you are to me even though I will never go out with you" role without having to lose her as a friend?
