Since when is an HR clerk/IT specialist considered a "veteran"? I always thought that label was reserved for people in combat roles.

They've been in this conflict since ever because some religious book says something about a territory and they radicalized them based on that

ISIS began when we chased Saddam's Baathists out of Iraq. That's why they don't have a country. It seems like every time we start a war and kill a few hundred thousand people, it somehow makes things worse.
