Well, as a long time NIN fan, I gotta say i was dissapointed. The song sounds like some yuppie contemporary san francisco rock -- the kind of nonsense that hipsters listen to.

I can definitely see this song in a toyota prius commercial.

Really? I am loving this CD so far. There is 2 or 3 I didn't like on the first playthrough but those are growing on me too. The chorus in this song is hard as hell, I doubt it would be in any commercial.

I hated Year Zero it was garbage with 2 or 3 good songs. With Teeth was not bad.

This is better than the new Pearl Jam. Pearl Jam just puts out the same song over and over again and people eat it up. It's ridiculous.

I went to see them when I was 18, but I was so drunk I slept through the concert.

http://remix.nin.com/ has a lot of free remixes of other songs.

You think the song on the OP is weak too?

NIN is essentially Trent Reznor, he owns the name. And so NIN's music is a reflection of Reznor's struggles and evolution.

Looking back on his old stuff, we can see how dark, edgy, and innovative his sound was because in his youth he wasn't afraid to express his indiduality. He's the man whom can be credited with creating Industrial Metal sound.

In recent years he's seems to have calm down, quit drug use, and is trying to lead a somewhat normal life and we can hear this reflected in his music. Notice how the song in the OP sounds gentle, contemporary, and nonoffensive -- this is how Reznor is these days. He's not doing the Industrial thing anymore.

Reznor is worth 40 million now, he has a hot wife with her own band (See Below). You'd be singing happy too.

Apparently Reznor does the music and the wife does the singing in that band. I think I am picking up this Cd. Check it out, that's Reznor in the background playing the music.

When you marry a western broad, you turn into Kurt Cobain. When you marry a foreign broad, you get Reznor.

Too soft.
Good banging music. Who hasn't banged to some Nine Inch Nails? This might be a bit softer but it's a great album and I hated the last one.

If we are going retro in our banging music, will take Lords of Acid every time over NIN, maybe Eraser though. Didn't think much of the OP song, but did enjoy NIN in the day and still play the trippy industrial more instrumental stuff from time to time today.

Eraser? You mean Erasure? You realize Erasure is 2 gay guys making music right? In more ways than one. I don't want to listen to 2 gay guys. At least Trent is banging a young hot Asian chic, not some guys bumhole.

I haven't heard Lords of Acid I will check it out.

Actually, I'm glad Trent has calmed down and has found some peace and happiness in his life. The guy has contributed so much to music and has been through so much bs that he deserves it.

One of the reasons why Trent has such a devoted fan base is because his fans have matured along side him and so they identify with his musical progression. And besides Trent is 48 y.o. now so it'll be kind of sad if he didn't move on from his industrial days.

But I personally can't get into his new stuff though.
