The things I want to improve... Projecting an "aura" of confidence and self control. That's really the main focus, as that is the foundation upon which most things will be built upon.

As for the DJ Bible, how should I read it in order to get the most from it? It's sorta like therapy in a way (it helps someone improve their attitudes, feelings, and beliefs) and I don't want to read it passively. It's one thing knowing it, and maybe spewing back what has been read, but I want to make sure I'm adopting it into my behavior and personality.

I am also interested in entering DonJuan Boot Camp, as it forces you to put into practice the concepts. Should I read the Bible and Boot Camp at the same time or read the Bible first?

I'm new here as well. I can't wait to go out to the bars and pick up. I've never had that chance since I was 19 because I was in a long relationship.... WOO HOO I get the chance!!!!

The best advice I can think of is to take everything you read in this forum with a grain of salt. This isn't to say there isn't the occasional golden piece of wisdom passed about on the forums, however lately they have become more few and far between.

So I would suggest that if you read most of the legendary Bible material (from Pook to Anti-Dump and onward), and you will be armed with enough info to be successful yourself. Then you've just got to get your hands dirty and try out new things until you find your own "way".

The boot camp is a great idea as well, because you get to work on improving with like-minded people.. once exams are done I'm thinking of getting involved in it too. Best of luck man!
