I went yesterday to my weekly salsa class. There a new girl came to try the lessons.

She was kind of cute so I thought about getting her number but I started to overthink and since it was her first class, I did not want to look desperate by going so direct.
I talked to her briefly and that was it. I repeat, she was new there, I wanted her number, but I though it may be better if I waited till next class, talk again, build rapport etc
BUT now I'm feeling bad because she may never come back, so I should just have done what I wanted to do. Damn it.
Many times a situation like this presents, and I never see the girl again.


What would you have done? get her number that same day, wait?


P.S.

Im thinking now that I should not be focusing in getting her number because then I enter this bad circle in which Im overthinking: 'shes cute, she's talking to her friend, I dont want to look weird, I should wait...blah, blah....'
I should just go to talk to her, and if she's nice, then after some minutes ask for her number.

Next time do what I do whenever I see a girl I like... tell her you're taking her out for drinks or food, bring her back to your place (or her place or in the back of your car), sleep with her and if she's good in bed, ask her her number.

I'll do better next time, and I have decided that from now on, everytime I see a girl I like and I have the chance to talk to her I will. I wont overthink, Ill just go to talk to her, and if she's ok get her number. I do not want to feel the agony of regret anymore, uhm.

The thing is, I was attracted to this girl but, she was too young (around 18-19) and I did not like very much her face and they way she was dressing.
BUT she had a very sexy body, very nice hair, so I'd like to nail her, thats for sure.
But the age issue was disturbing me, cause Im 26...

What I would have done is used that salsa to go to a salsa club where there will be tons of equally, if not more, hot women who want to be led around the floor by a guy who knows what he's doing.

I've been dancing competitively for 8 years. Trust me on this one.

imo, if she is in your class assuming you're going to see here a bunch of times you're probably better off building some comfort and rapport rather than going full on aggresive ask for number right away.

You should have definately talked to her, established rapport, and mentioned potentially going dancing elsewhere (you should know of places to go if you are taking lessons). Then, depending on how much you like her and how much chemistry there was, you should have gone for a number.
