I been seeing on social media sites a lot of chicks taking pictures with guns, and taking pics of them being in the gun range.

Are they doing this to attract males or just simply because its the new thing to do.

Do you think if some kind of disaster happens they will be able to defend themselves?

Metaphorical penises. Further evidence of the masculinization of womankind and the feminization of men.

I know a lot of women who own guns. I suppose it's all part of wanting to be more independent of men, being able to defend themselves on their own.

Some certainly will be able to. Others probably not. Depends on the person. Skill level, how well they can keep their head in a crisis, etc. Now before anyone here says "No woman can keep her head in a crisis", be aware there have been plenty of news stories of women shooting intruders.

I take it as a positive cultural trend and part of a backlash to feminism. A refreshing number of women out there today are taking the attitude "We don't need those lies or the leftism accompanying them, doing just fine thanks." I also think it is a subtle way of stating their political stance and seeking same in men. All the feminists I know or have ever met are into strict gun control, now if I could only meet more of those gun toting types of women repudiating feminism.

Maybe they are just trying to warn you bad boys that if you cross her she will "man down you" like Rihanna, lol.
Anyway, I remember dating this lady we had this kinky thing (at least I think it is) where we made up this story about us being hitmen. We had hitmen names we called each other. We'd make up this scenarios how we crossed each other's paths or how one of our names came up on the hit list like in Angelina Jolie's Assassins, lol.

Anyway, the irony is that in real life I'm anti-gun and she's pro-gun. So, one night I went over to her place. We started kissing and then she straddled me and pulled her gun on me. It was a really small guns. I didn't even know they made guns that small. Anyway, it was kind of hot. It was all in good fun and the gun wasn't loaded. Ah, memories of my semi-glorious past. Alright carry on boys.

Do not be too easy. If you are too easy to get, she will not want you. If you are too easy to keep, she will lose interest in you. If you are too easy to control, she will not respect you.

I have dated a pro gun chic. She was a worthless single mom and on our first date she told me she enjoyed ripping the nuts off a dead buck that she shot. You want nothing to do with these women. They are disgusting.

 funny you should say that. She was a single mom and a smoker too. I knew we didn't have a future. I tend to know a girl's future with me before we even get started. Yea, she was a single mom. Despite her faults there were things I liked about her. She was interesting to chill with, her 2 kids were nice. She cooked for me and took me out. Oh well that's another experience on my resume, lol.

You met a chic like that too? Mine smoked too. It was the fact she enjoyed ripping nuts off that turns me off. She liked doing that to men too, but not physically. She ripped off their nuts by offering good sex, hooking them, and then playing them for fools.

Well, mine wasn't ripping nuts off. The thing that put me off most about her besides the smoking was the fact that for some weird reason she had all kinds of bad luck with the people associated with her from robbing and being chased by cops to crashing and dying. Houses burning down etc I'm sure it was a coincidence but when someone has that many awful "my life sucks" story it can be off putting no matter how genuinely you feel for them. Yea, she hooked me with sex too (Good sex too) and then would flake. It's like we'd go through these off and on spells. I finally moved on. No future there. It's too bad the kids liked me and the older daughter would ask if I'm gonna disappear again, lol. In my head I'm thinking you should ask your mom to improve to keep a guy around.

My girlfriend back in 2010 had a CCW and owned a Walther PP

But yes I've noticed the same thing and have no idea why. I've taken half a dozen girls to the range over the years and most had a blast and wanted me to shoot their pictures because it was new and exciting. I think nonsense like "wanting more independence from men" is just over-thinking it. If anything, it's probably more girls hanging around Alpha males who like guns, explosions and fast cars.

What bugs me is, the number of girls with statements like "don't contact me if you have a picture holding a gun or a mirror shot". But if they post the same pictures.. they think it's sooo cute

Never try to read a woman's mind. It is a scary place. Ignore her confusing signals and mixed messages. Assume she is interested in you and act accordingly.

Right on. Every chick I've taken to the range loved it. It was all of their first times shooting, and that's why they wanted pictures. It was new and exciting for them.

Look at me, I shot a dangerous piece of machinery! I'm so strong and independent!

They always forget to mention how they were under the supervision of a man lol.

I met her kids too, and since me she had hhad at least 5 other live in boyfriends and they all met the kids too. She brings in new men, she declares them her kids new father, and within a few months they are gone. It's sick, it's twisted. Her daughter will be a crack wh0re by 18 I promise you. She doesn't care when the men leave, she simply goes and get another one to replace him, not thinking once about how the kids head is being destroyed.

I don't know about all that. I didn't live with her and neither did she live with me. As far as I know she tries to set her kids on the right path. In the sense of an education and getting them on a sports team. All the same they might grow up copying some of mommy's behaviors. To say they would turn into a crack wh0re might be taking it a bit to the extremes. We'll see.

Western social atomization through forced "dieversity" sees an increase in gun ownership combined with a chicks hindbrain now telling her that the males in her tribe dropped the ball and her offspring are no longer safe + you go gurlism indoctrination.

Or

It may just be a new thing to attract the type of men she actually wants and to keep gun fearing lefty faggots at bay.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

Funny enough, yes....I actually have noticed this. Not sure how I feel about it. I don't know that I really have an opinion either way. Most likely, if it's on social media, it's simply to get a reaction and who knows if they really do enjoy guns or not.

But there again, that's not the big issue. For some reason, they WANT the world to see them with a gun, so the ulterior motive is....? I'm not sure. It's probably that yes, they want to be 'independent' and 'look what I can do', just like men. And their emasculated husbands likely hide behind the veil of self defense for her. I just can't know.

This one may be taking the manosphere a little far. Probably has more to do with power than self defense though.

Most of the women who post pictures of themselves with guns on facebook and dating sites are clearly shooting for the first time (you can tell by their improper/awkward postures). Target shooting is seen as a kind of "extreme sport" in places where guns are not very common (think suburban liberal-leaning areas). I think it's a bit of a stretch to say that it's a backlash to feminism or leftism.

It's a turnoff for me because I personally dislike guns and 99.9999999999999999999% of the women I meet who own guns seem to declare themselves staunch "Republicans" or "conservatives." Definitely not my kind of chick.

Just another chapter of the Modern Empowered Woman.
I've always been suspicious of people who are afraid of guns. It just strikes me as a rather odd phobia. Sure, guns can be dangerous in the hands of the wrong people, but so can kitchen knives, baseball bats, metal pipes, bicycle chains, cars, matches...heck, even freaking fertilizer can be a deadly weapon! The fact is, unless your are a gang member or happen to live in a war zone, your chances of being shot are far lower than your chances of dying in a car accident. Yet, few people seem to have a paranoid fear of cars. Freud once said that the fear of weapons was a sign of "retarded sexual and emotional development". I think there is definitely something to that theory...

If some female I was making out with pulled a gun on me I would have reacted immediately and probably hurt her. Full reptile brain, adrenaline soaked disarming action complete with elbow/fist to jaw before I'd have a moment to think. That sh*t isn't funny, especially if you do it to a veteran.

It's not coincidence. You are the sum of the five people you spend the most time with. Sounds like she associates with unsavory people.

As far as this particular fad (and just about any fad, because I'm a bitter and easily annoyed dude) goes, it's annoying. But whatever.

Personally, although I know people are responsible for what happens with cars, knives, etc. When it comes to guns what I hate most about it is that it gives people a false sense of comfort, power and security. On the surface that may not be a bad thing. However, it's the fact that when any little thing goes down people reach out to their guns for those reasons I've mentioned. Since guns are that lethal it's hard to take back a momentary lapse in judgement. A man and a woman can be in a relationship. Things get heated he slaps her and she pulls her gun and shoots him and say she was scared for her life and it was self defense. Perhaps we should call it final sentencing. How often has someone been killed by a slap? So, yeah guns make it so easy and people who are nobodies think they are someone because they have a piece.

At this point you probably have a woman (or multiple women) chasing you around, calling you all the time, wanting to be with you. So let's talk about how to KEEP a woman interested in you once you have her. This is BIG! There is nothing worse than getting dumped by a woman that you really, really like.
