New Car - which one would ladies prefer?

I've been offered a company car, and the choice has been brought down to just two.


New model 3 Series Coupe

RX8 R3

Although the Mazda would be more fun but has a boy racer stigma to it, I'm thinking the beamer has more of a fasion statement and would be a lot more cosy. But then again, I'm still young and a sports car is tempting. Grrr.

Def the beemer, unless your game is that type of thing to fit the boy racer profile. The mazda does look like a boy racer, it's not a stigma it's that style.
Plus girls that don't know cars too well will assume the BMW=$$$ and might not know what the mazda is.

I agree it should be what you prefer but I also agree that BOTH cars are horrible...

Mazda is a piece of craap and the ONLY bimmer that should be on the road are the M3's through the M7's.

If you get an "I," Series...your a joke to REAL bimmer drivers.

Yeah, some car manics think there crappy and I would prefer an M3 but there are budgets to keep within.

Think am gonna go for the beamer but with the M sport package in white.

Although this would mean a four year lease. But meh, anything is better than my clapped out 1.4 hatchback.

The beemer. The rx8 has serious maintenance issues. every time you start the car you HAVE to let it run till the engine heats up. you need to occasionally shift at very high RPM to burn off carbon deposits. miss one maintenance period and the car might get ****ed.

and although its a 1.3 it gets 13 mpg and is a ridiculously heavy oil eater.

honestly, to put it this way, it's like choosing between a classic lady, who will take care of you, and occasionally turn some heads, and a Girl who looks hot sometimes, constantly needs your attention or will throw ****fits, and loves eating at all you can eat buffets.

but in the end its your choice. glad you decided BMW.

Either way, make sure you enjoy the car.

Sounds trivial what I am saying, but what I mean is, don't focus so much on the *attention* the car is going to get you, but just enjoy the car itself.

But otherwise, the BMW; looks more manly. You should probably look into reliability and costs etc to help you decide though, tbh.

Its the new 3 Series Coupe M Sport I'm going for - its this image I linked in my last post, (looks very much like an M3) but I'm going for a standard engine. Its a looks over performance thing. It will be much better than what I have now anyway. I go on track days in the summer and hire a fully track prepared track car to go fast

The company pays under a business lease (much more cheaper than personal, + no tax).

Its down to the monthly cost rather than the value of the car, works out cheaper for a longer contract, hence this one would be a 4 years instead of the common 3.

I got the most ***** of my life when I was driving an undersized maroon/pink car that could barely pull 150km on the highway.

Good, somebody that actually has some idea of what they're talking about. The RX-8 is fairly gutless and can be a nightmare as this poster described.

I personally would spring for a 3 series sedan way before I would get the coupe. The styling on the 4 door, especially after the facelift is far more aggressive and looks much better than the bland coupe in my opinion. It's more practical as well.
