neone know about legs?

I play baseball and the Pirates scout told me that I should seriously work on my legs to get them bigger

I have 3 months until the season starts

what can i do to get the fastest results?

how often should i lift?

Plyometrics is big, but ONLY offseason. If you do it onseason, you WILL overtrain.

Squats/Deads/Cleans/Good Mornings/Lunges


There's tons of **** man, just get a rigerous leg workout going. Don't let it be too rigerous during the season though.

There is no one routine that will work for everyone. You will have to find what works for you. I have found that I hit my legs the best and make the best gains with squats when I do 4-5 sets of high reps(15-20). Because of the nausea this isn't for everyone though. Other than squats, leg extension and ham curl machines are good. Dead lifts are always key but I tend to stick to squats more than deads. I did 4x20 on squats(135,185,225,250) two days ago and I can still barely walk...

metal fortress said it pretty well. Squats are the best damn thing for your legs. Since you play baseball you might also want to try angled leg press, or hamstring lifts. I dont think baseball players need to work too much on their calves.

Problem with legs is that it makes you puke....Always funny to stagger off the power rack wobbling your face off only to bury it in a trashcan....hahahahahah

A personal favorite of mine is Walking Dumbell Lunges. These will give you DOMS in your glutes live you've never felt.

As for how often that is a difficult question. Personally I do legs once a week, I have done them up to 4x a week in the past, but my current routine only calls for once a week and I am seeing good progress.

Bump to that. You lunge hard and squat hard in the same day, and it will be all you can do to WALK for a few days afterwards.
