Neil Strauss book is successful because Most Americans men are lazy AFC's who are looking for the quicket way to get laid without putting much work or effort. They do not want to work on themselves by going to the gym and pursue their own life and goals (oh no that might be painful and might takes too much work!!! we are living in a fast food culture, everything has to come fast and easy or else it won't be worth it for these guys)

I haven't read the book, but I thought that the book detailed the great PUAs, ie Mystery et al. So the plot would have to be about the big PUAs, thus exposing Mystery's material.

Remember everyone saw 'Swingers' and the rule about waiting 3 days before you call, and the 'Rules' book was big seller and there have been tons of movies with moments that expose techniques but the thing is after a week or so people tend to forget all about it and people cant resist the nature of human psychology as it applies to attraction and seduction.

I know this thread is old, but I personally felt it important to make another post. To me, Jimmy Kimmel is much more of a DJ than Neil Strauss. Sure, Neil Strauss could pick up more women, but I think Kimmel is more of a man, more of a DJ than Strauss would ever be. There is a difference between DJs and PUAs, and, not to insult Neil (i respect him greatly), but i'd rather be like Kimmel, who has that great sense of humor. He just seemed to be more natural and naturally funny while conversing with alba. I admire the way guys like Jimmy Kimmel can use callbacks like when he reverted back to scuba diving when they were talkinga bout the breathing machine and when alba asked what kind of girls the game worked on Kimmel immediately said britney spears. I just feel that Kimmel was the more natural, the funnier, and the more DJ-like of the two.

There is no DJ vs PUA. This comes up all the time, and it is not useful to think about. Do not make excuses for yourself why you cannot get the chicks you really want. It has nothing to do with being a DJ or a PUA, there is just things which are effective and things which are not effective.There is just guys who are successful and guys who are not. Strauss seems to be capable of pulling success out of a$$. First, he lays a bunch of hot chicks, then he gets rich talking about the glory days. He is at a place where , quite frankly, our opinions are really insignificant. There is no one on this forum with his level of success, our opinions are not worthy.

Having said that, I would not wish his voice upon anyone He claims to have a voice coach, and I think he must play hookey a lot for the lessons. Unfortunately, he had the connections to really take things far into the mainstream. Right now sarging is easy becauase almost no white guys will go out and approach women in daily life. The few who do are incredibly lame, "come here often" types. This means that average guys can get many #s per day and pull without too much difficulty if they are persistent plowers. Post "The Game" bigscreen we will see what happens. I think this will be a wake up call for some of the upper tier white boys to start approaching. The 40 year old virgin types won't do anything, so there is still extra booty to go around. Plus how many black males are inprisoned or die young or chronically under-employed.
For those of us who are above average, the playing field is greatly leaning in our favor. Now is a great time to be a man so long as you can avoid child support and maintenance.
