I think this book is getting more publicity since he released "The Game", now that he got popular for that, it looks like hes exploding. I dont even tell the closest people around me about the community, because i dont want them to out game me, or realize that even though they think they are better than me... i will be the only one that truly knows that theyre AFC...now they'll find out for themselves...

I for one think the whole PUA culture is pretty sick. This I agree with wholeheartedly and absolutely. The mentality of the modern PUA is that of a scorned boy-man who seeks revenge for something he considers himself a victim of. He cares only for the numbers in order to get the affirmation and misled vindication from his peers which perpetuates his insanity for attention.

Manipulation and pickup lines are for sissies and children.

Conflicting advice from womans magazines dont help. Relationship coloumns and all the other pyschological bull**** that goes with it have made dating a minefield.

"22 ways to improve your stagnating relationship"
"147 ways your man neglects you"

Seduction thoeries are quite new, and almost a retaliation from men. So women will eventually evolve and complicate the entire thing even more now. The natural process of weeding out the rubbish has become so corrupted that all they manage to achieve is being suckered by PUA tactics. It just means more **** tests if you ask me

Nah man, someone convince me otherwise but i dont agree. Women are the most manipulative b!tches in the world, a lot of them are quick to try and play mind games and play with mens feelings carelessly...a lot of attention wh0res that are ready to strike down any man at the club just to stroke their ego....

What's really funny is this is just what everyone said when The Game was released. You guys must think women actually take the time to read. My greater fear is that this will only go to make worse AFCs. The problem with PUA skills is that chumps see them as an end unto themselves without ever unplugging from the Matrix. Most will only laugh at Strauss' material as yet another manifestation of desperate masculinity to be ridiculed like another "man" on the latest sitcom. They'll use it to justify their "I'm glad I'm not like other guys using this material, hur hur,.." mindset and go back to their LJBF and JBY lifestyles.

Then there will be the others who'll use it like a manual; a magic formula to get them the "girl of their dreams" because they still subscribe to the fallacy of the ONE. These are the chumps that are really screwed - the would-be PUAs who actually see a change and get what they sought only to ruin their lives with the dream girl because they never made a real change and killed their inner AFC. I would count Mystery and Strauss in this camp.

Any DJ on SoSuave already has an advantage - we already know about this stuff. It's old news. All we need do is recognize it being used, adapt methodologies, and counter it. Trust me, no DJ will be losing dates to wannabe PUAs reading Strauss' latest offerings. Most wont have the balls to change themselves as it is.
