you know Im kind of getting tired of every week looking up and seeing Neil in the Times, Cosmo, on TV, soon to be a movie. etc etc. I mean was this his ultimate goal to fame? Im not hating on the man at all but its like his page on MySpace...self promotion to the highest degree.

It's like spy agency vs spy agency.

We read up on girls, they read up on us. Every now and then someone comes along and exposes the public of what's going on. But unless you get a genuine understanding of what it's all about, it's just information with no direct impact on your life. You just carry on with your normal every day lives.

I read a bit on Neil Strauss's book "the game" seems part of "the game" is being a popular writer for famous people and magazines and living in a Mansion. He was also living in LA which means you can then look like a troll and impress girls if you have the right stuff,DJ or not.. I wonder what type of DJ he would have been had he had a boring career like a mailman and having no cash and wearing clothes from Target! No matter what,, he would have had a hell of a tougher time cause the "HB 9-10's" would have seen him as an ass if he tried c/f while driving a Ford Focus, boring career, lived in a dumpy 1studio in the "rong part of town" .

He already had what most shallow b*tches are looking for. A guy who knows all the "right" people and has money and wears designer labels. The only thing he lacked was confidence. Money is the great equalizer for guys without looks.

Ah, god. Enough with this.

Everything and anything that could possibly be discussed about Neil and his book have already been discussed within 2 months of the book's release. Do some searches.

Uh, HELLO man! You don't think a girl as hot as Lisa could have gotten practically ANY guy she wanted? She could have gotten rockstars. Being a "writer" isn't a big thing in LA. Being a director, or a rockstar, or a CEO is big. A "writer" isn't stereotypically exciting. Even though he was in LA, the men around him had more wealth and more fame than he had. Nevertheless, he still pulled girls, and got a very hot GF.

Also, explain Mystery getting Scott Baio's girlfriend's number right in front of him. Sure, one could argue that Scott Baio is washed-up, but he is surely more famous and richer than Mystery.

Erase the social conditioning. Game matters more than money or fame.

Rico I dont agree. Like Duke said Game can take you far!! Case in point I had a friend (we are no longer friends) who at 28 years of age was still living with him mother, working at a Warehouse and drove a 89 Chevrolet Cavalier! Man this brother would pull hot babes!! Not 10's but 7, 8's mostly and occassionally a 9. Now of course all these girls were between 19-24 years of age but still he was living at home, working in a old warehouse and driving a not so impressive car. But he had the attitude, the look, everything. He and I would go out and hit the dance clubs and just pull women left and right. Even when they found out where he lived, what he did and what he drove they didnt care. And he would dump them and they would cry and tell me about it, LOL!!

i totally agree w/ this. in the book, i was under the impression that strauss never mentioned his career as a writer for rolling stones/rock stars when he was out in field sarging. after all, not once does he write about this when he was sarging girls. furthermore, remember tyler durden faking his career as a rolling stones writer as he sarged girls? tyler said that doing so actually worked against him since it came across as bragging. i'm guessing strauss had an ulterior motive to include that part.
maybe strauss didn't have to bring up his career himself. if you read mystery's e-book, he advises fellow wingmen to do it for you. for instance, let's say strauss is sarging two girls. mystery comes along several minutes later and says, "What's up. So I see you met my boy Style... he's a writer for rolling stone magazine and he's written books for dave navarro... etc." Being a writer for rolling stone and rock stars is incredibly high value if you ask me! If Strauss "had a boring career like a mailman," he would not have had the type of success he had in the book

Hmmm...I read "The Game" and I thought if anything it was discrediting PUA methods. The so-called "successful" gurus were picking up cheap wh0res (like Courtney Love and her like), were messed up in the head, had no self value or morals, and, as others have said, were rolling in wealth and luxury!

If it doesn't bode well for rich people, it bodes even worse for the average guy.

You essentially upped your VALUE in her eyes by showing her that, if she wants you, she has to at times do things that you like to do. You are SOMETHING after all. You are NOT FREE. If she wants to hang with you, it's going to cost her something — time, effort, money.

Soooo... who is Neil Strauss again?

Was he that guy that was popular for a couple of days when he wrote that PUA book that was a rag? Or was he the bald guy who thought he was a self-proclaimed PUA but couldn't prove his "skillz" worth ****" Or is he that one-trick pony guy who keeps trying to get his name back into the media's most "popular" publications by spewing the same crap over and over in hopes or riding on his earlier "sucess"?

Sooooo... which one is he?

I'm not sure what you mean about him not proving his "skillz". Did you ask him to show you?
