im pretty good with CF, but when it comes to neg hits, i can sometimes be a little too mean, especially when im drunk.
i smile and laugh at it though so it lessens the blow, but sometimes i slip and some mean shiat comes out that sets me back a step or 2.

ex: girl wearing an ugly/weird shirt

i said "who do you think you are wearing that shirt?!?" then smile

shes like "what! what do you mean"

im like "oh.. nothing.. dont worry about it" then laugh a little

but give me more examples cause the one i just mentioned SUCKS

and ive read all the ones in the BIBLE so dont mention it

thx

The best neg-hits are in the form of backhanded compliments:

e.g. "I like that sweater, my grandma has one just like it."

You should avoid overt insults, they don't go over too well.

I used to use neg hits in a way that did not work well for me. I think your situation may be similar. I actually only use them now after I have some rapport with a girl. I used to try and use them as conversation starters and I realized that this was a huge mistake. Better to go with funny first and then slowly bring the ****y into the picture. We have to realize something, many women have a very low self esteem and you want to touch that part of them without making them hate you. The way to do this is to establish some rapport and get her thinking of you as a fun guy, that way she will have a hard time figuring out how much of what you say represents how you think of her. After you have gotten enough rapport with her you can pretty much say anything and she won't take it seriously.

That's a great example.

Far too many guys on this board make insults instead of neg-hits.

If you aren't sure how do to it right, or can't seem to pull it off right, quit using it and read up more on it first.

I personally don't use them much, because my C+F is tight and gets good enough responces as it is.
