First of all, i'm new to being a pickup artist. I only found out about this about a week ago. Anyway, I need some suggestions on where to go to practice my pick up artist skills. I especially need advice on where to go on a Saturday night, by myself. I'd rather go by myself then with my friends because they are not the type that would enjoy/try being a pickup artist. In fact, most of them are AFC's. Anyways, please post some ideas

EDIT: I live in Tempe AZ if that helps any

firstly a DJ is not a pick up artist thats the wrong frame of mind, as for where to approch girls, well you could do this in bars or clubs (do not aproch girls in dark areas at night, you will only scare them) basicly you can just go up and apprch them in the middle of town or near your house, at the park anywhere you like!

let me re-emphasize for effect. a DJ is not the same as being a PUA. since you cant even differentiate the two terms, i reckon you havent acquired/dont have the skills as of yet to try to do formal pickups. go read some more articles from the bible about pickup ideas and places. this has been covered upteen times before.

If you want to talk, talk to your friends. If you want a girl to like you, listen to her, ask questions, and act like you are on the edge of your seat.

NO!!!

A pick up artist can be a gay pick up artist or an AFC with cute looks who gets one nighters. A DJ is masculine, he pursues what he wants, not just women, in so doing he doesn't really need to pick em up, they will come to him. They will be attracted to him because strength, power and confident are brilliant at getting women all gooey in the fork. A PUA can be a $25K per annum pump man, a DJ probably has game at work, game at home, game at his interests, and this game equates to success with women....if he is in the mood.

I am not quite yet there, but am getting there pretty quickly, give me a year MAX and I will be a strong playa/DJ or whatever term you want to use.

you or me

We were online at the same time their jakeyboy, you saved me a couple of posts as well, so consider it a mate doing a mate a favour.

As for 4 posts, it is also clear that he didn't read or study any literature before posting, but I guess he had to start smewhere.

alright. but still reckoned he shouldnt have claimed that PUAs and DJs have the same terminology and accomplish the same goals. i dont think i was that confident after my first 4 posts. oh well. give him the benefit of the doubt. perhaps he read the wrong articles.

It doesn't matter how good-looking you are, how romantic you are, how funny you are... or anything else. If she doesn't have something INVESTED in you and the relationship, preferably quite a LOT invested, she'll dump you, without even the slightest hesitation, as soon as someone a little more "interesting" comes along.

A universe...where heartbreak and sadness have bee
Guys, shut up with the PUA vs DJ stuff. Jesus.

We're all after the same damned thing...our masculinity. Enough of this divisive attitude. If you think his question would be better suited to another forum, then LEAD him there. Don't b!tch and moan about DJs versus PUAs like you're trying to say one's better than the other.

Steel, if you want to learn true "PUA tactics", then you should check out www.fastseduction.com and the "Fast Seduction 1010 Player Guide" on there. That'll get you started. The DJ Bible is much more philsophical and although there's a lot of excellent material in it, it's easy to get so wrapped up in THINKING that you forget to DO.

As far as who's in your area, we have a "Wingman Forum" on this site that you could post on. Regarding WHERE, just go anywhere where pretty girls are likely to be. This can be a club/bar/lounge, the mall, school, ANYWHERE. Pick-ups don't HAVE to be confined to a certain setting.
