Hey Guys,

Have you guys had any experiences with shy girls?
There is this girl i know. And she is so quiet, doesn't talk much.
All the time it's always me who have to come up with something to keep the conversation going...
Yeah... I got her phone number already. But I'm pretty sick this week, and I reckon I'll ask her out next week. Probably get some better rapport during the week and get her more confortable to talk.
But... do you guys have any good ideas with ice breakers for this type of girls?

Cheerz,
Storyteller.

yeah, C&F is the best way to break the ice with shy girls!, use your wit and if you really are 'the storyteller' ;), then it shouldn't be hard to break the mould with her...just find out what her interests are and you might find out you have more in common than you think.

Thanks for the advice!
I'm using the C&F, even though some ppl say that girls from asian cultures don't go for it too much...
I'm trying to get to know her interests... but right now all the things we have in common are just a few subjects in uni.

Find something she's interested in and get her to talk about it..
there must be something

get her to talk about her favourite topic: HERSELF.

ask open ended questions..

dont worry too much.. she will like you for trying to enter her boring world lol.

This is on point. Also, a method I use for those who are "shy" is to take them to a really good movie; one that is critically acclaimed and to her liking. I usually like for it to be a damn good comedy. This way she is most likely to feel good and still laughing at the movie after we leave the theater.

I will then initiate conversation about the movie if she hasn't already done so. This will get her to yapping..."oooo, yeah that was so funny!"

I would then use a part of the movie to stir the conversation to a topic about her. For example, the last time I used this on someone was when I went to go see the Pirates of The Carribean.
There is a part when Cpt. Sparrow was pissy drunk on an island. My date was laughing hard at this scene. Right after we talked about this scene on the drive home, I asked her if she had ever gotten pissy drunk before. She then went into her tales of drinking more than she could stomach. She was into talk mode after that.

Matter-of-fact, that was our third date and her IL was low before it. She had called me a couple of days later for the first time to "see what I was up to." Before then I had done all the calling.

Sometimes I just let a good comedy warm them up and then I just take over and take all of the credit for the good feelings. You should see my DVD collection...it's at least 75% comedy; stand up and all.

Hey, if a good comedy can't start her up, she probably won't be too much fun in the long run. I have to have a broad with a sense of humor.
