The Vibe II is the newest, most recent one... it's the one you would probably want.
In my experience, I love music and I have the original Vibe and the quality was amazing... the bass was hard, but it wasn't muffled... and the treble was crisp.
Like I said about me loving music, I love all genres. Hip-hop songs have heavy bass, smooth jazz songs have a nice mixture of heavy bass and crisp treble, and alternative, rock, and punk music are loud without any loss of clarity.
I can't tell you much about the ones that have a headset... but I can tell you the one's I have are really good quality. They're aluminum, they're light-weight, and they have a good number of colors to choose from. I bought the original Vibe when I bought the old iPod Nano G2 (there's G4 now), and judging from the links I gave you, it also seems they even updated the headphones I bought 2 years ago... but it's probably just cosmetic changes, and I thought they were perfect already.
Also, there's a 1-year warranty. My brothers were always pulling the headset out of my ears with from the wire, and eventually the wires were coming apart from the ear-bud. I emailed the company, and they had gave me no trouble whatsoever about exchanging them for a brand new pair. They didn't just take my headphones and mail back JUST headphones, they sent me back a completely new package, with everything the original package included.
I also bought some nice memory foam fittings for the end, made for the Vibes... much more comfortable than the typical silicone fittings that every in-ear headset comes with. They're much better because you don't have to jam them in your ear like the silicone ones (which can give you a headache after a couple minutes of wear), all you have to do is squeeze them and then the memory foam will mold to your ear without over-expanding your ear. Plus, the noise isolation is much better with these. You can get those here,
Comply Foam.
They're good headphones for the price. Bose and Sony are good... but often over-hyped... because they can afford to screw their customers with their name, because people will buy them for their name. You will get nice Bose or Sony headsets once you start going into the $200 price range.
