Need another persons opinion.

I known this woman for 5-6 years, nothing ever happen between us, just friends. Another thing is she's married. So anyway we are having lunch, figured we would be in and out, but she wants to start talking. So out of the blue she starts telling me how this is going to be un comfortable for her to say,, but she really needs to tell me.

So she goes on and tell me that she wonders how it would have been if we would have been more then friends and dated. Then she goes on to tell me how she has changed and what she wanted 5 years ago is not what she wants today and how i'm this great guy and she knows any woman that ends up with me will be lucky. At this point I'm floored, I had no idea she ever felt this way

So I tell that I cared about her and and she is my friend and that I want the best for her and for her to be happy. She paused and said she is.

So at this point I am not longer wanting to eat,, I say to her well you now you can't change what has happened in the past and you ended up with the guy you really wanted anyway so what is the issue. She goes on to say that she would change the past if she could...The craziest part is she then tells me that if we were to ever get together we sould have animal issues, we both have a couple dogs and i believe the most you can have in the city we live in is three.. Its like she's planning out her future... Yeeks !!!!

Today i come home and find a message on my machine that she is afraid that she may have opened a can of worms...

So what do you think, what is going on in this womans mind. She tells me shes happy !! bu then if you could you would change the past ??? Is she reaching out ? What the Heck should I do !!!

i think she is trying to say " i married a guy five years ago and hes good to me. i am happy but not the happiest that i could be because things arent exactly like i pictured and i need more friends to talk to once in a while."

perfectly normal for someone married for that long.

doesnt sound like she is leaving or going to cheat on her husband.

id leave it alone and let her be.

Looks like you could tap it if you up playing on her emotions, possibly even a long term FB type deal. Shes got the dependable beta at home but that only covers half of her needs, be the opposite of him and you could have a sweet deal here.

Guys Don't really want to cheat with her or any like that she married. Just a strange thing that totally caught me off guard the other day and wasn't really to sure what it was all about.

Don't understand women. You won't understand anyway. Why don't you ask her opinion on how you could meet asingle women anywhere and take it from there?

I guess you should try dating someone else so you won't be a dead cold freind.

I could give you a whole bunch of speculations, but I need more info. How old is she and how old are you? Does she have children? What was your prior relationship like before she got married and in the course of the 5 years she's been married?

I can already tell you emphatically not to pursue her or let this go to your head. If I don't miss my guess, from your first post, she's got buyers regret with her current husband, but I need more info.

She shouldn't have said anything to you - she should be talking to her female friends not her male ones. This is a prime example of why male/female friendships do not work.
