NC: do you tell them don't contact me again?

Just wondering if when you go NC with an ex if you explicitly tell them not to contact you (which could be interpreted as you being hurt) or just go ghost on them. And what do you do when she starts blowing up your phone with 10 texts and multiple calls?

No contact means no contact.

The point is not to show your cards...that's what gets their "hamster" going.
You want that sucker spinning on end, so don't explain to them not to contact you.

It may depend on what it is she did to deserve NC. But more often then not it means to erase them from your life...so never respond and move on to another.

going complete ghost and never responding will more than likely have their head spinning wondering why...which is the point.

As pdx says, it depends on what she did.

But what you should probably realise is that right now, you're the one with all the power. So you've got a couple of choices here:

1. Tell her 'Don't call me again' and cut her out of your life, or
2. Exploit the situation, when the timing suits you let her occasionally back in, but only if it involves her cooking for you and lots of angry, revenge sex.

Keep looking for other women, and when you find a decent one, use No 1.

And I know you're smiling to yourself right now. I've been there. But, text are going to become more seldom...At that point don't doubt yourself about what you did. Stick to No Contact.

Precisely.

I don't think I would ever tell a girl not to contact me, it's more
fun this way. But definitely keep it NC. It's REALLY difficult
at times (I've been there) but really the best thing for you. (not going back to them).
