I was thinking of taking one of Mystery's 3 day seminars to help me start to improve my skills. I was wondering what everyone thought of these seminars, or if anyone here has been to one of them. They are quite expensive at $2000, not including travel and hotel. Just trying not to be an AFC anymore and I want to get results fast. Any thoughts?

I don´t think it´s worth the money. If you read the bible you have everything you need to know for free. You basically pay him so that you are forced to approach chicks. If you can afford it though, then do it and tell us what you learned...

I know a guy - decent looking guy, decent personality, maybe a little too loud, decent job, a plumber - who has been to 2 Mystery seminars. He has flown out to San Fran for both. He has spent a total of more than 5000 just on Mystery seminars - and he has spent way more on other books and seminars.

He still has not F closed. His approach seems good to me, but it's not stellar or anything. I know guys who do better than him in the field.

Was the 5000+ $$ worth it? Doesn't seem like it.

I think it really depends on how well you can follow what Mystery says and understand his technique enough to make it work for you. I'd give it a go if you can really spare the money. If not carry on improving yourself till you can afford it, but by then you probably wont need it.

$2000?

You can invest that money on something such as a better wardrope, haircuts, fitness center, or even toward your retirement.

Those things have much more lasting effects on a person.

ANYONE can pick drunk chicks in a nightclub.

Two thousand dollars is way too much for a 3 days seminar. The bible is a great start. Introduce the site to some of peers and work at wingman. That's all you need.

$2,000 is understandable if the seminar is Career oriented. But to pick up woman? For that amount of money he can go to Russia or Amsterdam and get laid! (plus get some culture in the process too).

I agree.

For just $100 you can get a few good books that deal REALLY with how to get sex.

Just focus on looking your best (the best ****ing clothes), work out (and be heatlhy too), study women body language, go out a lot, hit on those who are dying to meet you, and **** their brains out!

All of this without going to a seminar.
Tip: there are many better places to get laid fast than clubs!

Just learn and take action man. Chicks are easy, really. Good luck!

Just like in "the game"

This is just like the amount they charged in the book written by Niel Strauss (Style) in "the Game". I remember reading somewhere when they charge a very ridiculous amount of money because the PUAs planned on renting an expensive hotel. I can't believe how people are making fortune out of this. Style, Mystery, and all the other PUAs should get real job and stop ripping people off.

the worst is the $4000+ price tag for the 'annhialation method' - and that was not even a live seminar, just a book and some dvd's.

Thanks for all the great feed back. I seems like the money is not worth it and I should use it to better use.

Listen, quite honestly...I cannot say if the $$ is worthy or if it is not.

That's right. I'll only consider attending such an event if the cost equals my weekly income. Thus, if I make $2000/week, I might go. Nothing less.

all i have to say is - for 2000$, plus travelling expenses - they should guarantee that you get laid. if not, they should set you up at the bunny ranch for a weekend.

Before flying to a Seminar, take a look at some other Seduction methods and see if you can save the travel costs and learn from home. David Deangelo has a Mastery series and Ross Jeffries has quite a few revised Speed Seduction dvds and audio books. Also check out Stephane Hemon from Ideagasms.

Worth it?

Here's the thing:

A lot of people make 100$-300$ an hour, so 2k may sound like a lot to some people. However, it's very reasonable to others. Go to any nice mall in a big city and you will see 16-22 year old women with nose jobs. Why do they have these? To make themselves more attractive and improve their mate choice/social value.

Now, plastic surgery isn't cheap. A lot of people may reason that 2k with no physical pain to improve their attractiveness/social skills is a bargain.

Consider that a Jr. or Senior level University course will cost 600+$. And that's at a public institution!

However, going to a workshop isn't a magic fix, that's where people get let down. A good workshop should allow you to see an instructor demonstrate. These concepts are easily confused, and it helps to actually see how it's done.
Unfortunately, there are a lot of workshops receiving reviews that this doesn't happen. V.A.'s is one of the very few workshop I would bother taking for this reason.

Secondly, if you have particular sticking points that you have not been able to get rid of. You've been out regularly for at least six months and can't figure out what to do by watching the local guys and experimenting on your own. In this case, it would probably be best to consult with an instructor before the one-on-one or bootcamp to make sure the issues you're concerned with can/will be addressed.

If you're really tight on money, then a bootcamp might not be for you. Clothes, hair, cover charges, gas, courses, etc does get expensive. But the biggest cost any of us face is the cost of not making progress... this will cost people more money, enjoyment, and health than anything else.

Exactly, overall you're post was solid!!!

These type of things are only as good as you make it. Just like any type of seminar. At the end of the day "Will you use the things you've learnt and improve?"

I know many guys who've took bootcamp after bootcamp and got no where. Then you have the others who take a bootcamp and practice over and over and end up having the lifestyle they want.

If you have the money use it. Even though I'm not a big Myster method type of guy, it will still be good because many guys that have made big contributions to this community learned Mystery method. Also the thing about it is that if you want to get into this lifestyle you will have access to a tight MM community. (The venusian arts lounge) In the end there are many long term benefits. It's just everyone is looking for the magic pill and thats why you don't see many new top guru's due to this same reason.

I am just laughing at the poor shmucks who have paid 1000s of dollars for those dvd's and I have the same materials for free. I can tell you right now they are not worth more than 50 bucks.
