But Style just came across as an insecure geek. He has poor body language, dresses like a homo, and has a squeaky, high, fast voice.
He came across that way because he IS that way. If he was a cool dude like everyone claims, would he have acted like a geek?

And Conan is funny and extroverted. He wouldn't bother kissing Mystery's ass or asking for a demonstration like some of the guys here are saying, when Conan is already married, and is probably good with women already (despite what he says during his show, because it's more funny to act that way). Most of the guys who need this kind of advice are the opposite of Conan.

Wow, I didn't know this thread that I made would get this many responses. I expected 0 responses to be honest. I notice the mods changed the title of my thread though..lol...when I made this, I made the title say, Mystery will be on Conan O'Brien in a few mins." I never meantioned anything about Style. Why did they change my title?

The fact of the matter is that most of you guys are scared of being in demand. Sounds good to you in theory, but when it comes down to it you are scared s***less. The whole concept of being the hunted rather than the hunter disturbs many of us who were raised in the cozy western world. I am still getting used to it.

It is simple. Think differently and get different results. Think like those around you and be just another chubby chaser.
BEST. POST. EVER. I just printed this out and stuck it on my wall.

By the way, Conan is the man.

Style and Mystery both suck balls.

Does anybody agree that peacocking is corny, and using the word sarge is part of being a social robot?

Mystery didn't lose his virginity until he was XX years old, and he uses magic, his size, and props to get girls.

Style is feminine to the extreme, you know he knows their secrets, but you've got to "come under the gaydar" for his advice to really work.

superchill89, if you're going to comment on something, learn what the **** you're talking about first. Mystery Method is not about using canned routines. Routines are only used in the beginning so that you can socially calibrate, and so that you don't become overwhelmed from the start. One of the biggest problems men have with approaching women is not knowing what to say. Routines get them past that hurdle and let them focus on other things like body language. Then once they're comfortable approaching women with routines, they can branch out their skills, drop the routines, and become more natural.

right. IDEALLY, guys will become more confident with the routines, then drop them and become more natural, but from what I have seen, a lot of them dont. they get too attached to these crutchs and never let go.

I've actually met both Style and Mystery in person, and I must admit, both are not very different from what you see in their interviews. Mystery is extremely eccentric and intense. Neil is self effacing, and his mannerisms are a bit effeminate. Having said that, now you know why both individuals spent so much time having to learn seduction techniques. Neither are or were naturals and therefore had to spend a lot more time than the average person picking up pickup skills.

But anyways back to the topic, out of curiosity what is it that mystery teaches that is related to natural game?
I think he just broke down what actually happens with "naturals" in order to understand it. Naturals don't think about A1, A2, A3... they just do it. If you're not a natural, you probably end up doing a lot of F26 and Purple7 mixed in with your A1s and A2s. If you just step outside of looking at it like a rigid framework, it's pretty easy to see that it's just a microanalysis of natural human interaction.

I don't know if that was helpful at all, I just want to mix "Purple7" into the seduction lexicon.

The VA handbook is supposed to help guys at all levels of their game (except mPUA's of course), but especially newbies. That's why at least half of the book if I recall (perhaps more?) is devoted to opening.

Once you gain some experience, you will rely more on your intuition. MM simply gives a guideline of progression which is quite helpful if you're an absolute beginner.

Re:

The convulted part to their success is...once you've gotten to where they are, you realize NO form IS form. No tricks ARE tricks. It's more of an awakening AWAY from routine. The tricks gave them a crutch to be who they wanted to be, while believing in SOMETHING. That's all it boils down to. The odds of those things working in any setting have the same % chance of working as anything you derive on your own. The difference being, you don't believe in yourself, but you do believe in guys who market themselves well.

At this point, given how OLD and how much they've been around the block, talking to ANY girl shouldn't be a big deal. Any guy whos been with a girl they consider THEIR personal "10", who's been drunk, hung over, banged him, sick, had her period, screwed up, cried, or done any of the other myriad of things HUMAN beings do, really minimize the power they actually have. It's the fact that...most guys don't keep to their reality and people see things how they WANT to see them, not how they are, or might be.

That hot girl you see waiting tables, albeit nice as she might be, could be a cheating, disease ridden hoe, who comes from a broken home and is a money grubbing douche. OR, she's a sweet heart from down south working her way through college. Point is, if a girl's got the ultimate shield up, are you, men, so desperate to puncture it, or do you believe a better class of women exist?

I read the Game. It was a good read. I don't necessarily think it's on the money or for me, although Tucker Max loved it. What his motivations were, I don't know. Yet, it did mention the success of MANY guys. Many guys who did find and get women. After a certain point though, the success of the guru's is assured. It's not hard. It's like now. Once you've gotten it once...it keeps coming. It's not hard. And it's not the routines, programs, lists of books, or anything...that thing, that program, or seminar is a bridge...connecting your lack of belief, to utter trust in yourself. And that's it. One can read all the theories they want...but knowing genetics doesn't change...that she's just a girl doing something...and you're just a guy...and you need to open up a conversation with her and see if she's even worth your time.
