Mystery First. You create some of this by looking rugged,
DIFFERENT(style), involved in several guys activities(rugby),
and you HOLD back certain things about your lifestyle which
women find irrestistable. In fact, sometimes I reveal
key things about myself several dates in (for example,
the little story about hitchiking through europe, or
the motorcycle accident i was in).

You need to show that you have ambition in this phase too,
in that you have plans for BIG stuff.

Adventure: This one's fairly easy. BE adventurous to
begin with, but DO adventurous stuff on dates WITHOUT
telling her in advance. Go to dinner as planned, and
then head for the rock climbing gym as a surprise. Dont
TELL her you are adventurous, BE adventurous.

Challenge. This is last for the simple reason that SHE
KNOWS that you were CHASING HER in the beginning.
So it takes time to make her CHASE you. Dont be
overly available, DO date other people casually, have
several female friends that you pal around with, and
give her the vibe that you like her, but she doesnt
CONTROl you.

Those are all things that should be consistent throughout the entire process. However if you're talking about developing them then I'd have to say they go in this order:

Adventure (outgoingness), challenge, mystery. Mystery is last because by itself it is useless. When they find out who you really are (they will eventually, mystery is used to build attraction, not a permanent solution) and you're not fun, or challenging, game over.

The challenge is a part people don't seem to get. You don't isolate this as a characteristic of it's own. You just become the challenge. You create a life, have hobbies, have a reason to turn a girl down. The other two simply lead to being a challenge (confidence too).
