I work for a large international company and they are great believers in the Myers Briggs personality tests to help you understand how you work best and how you can work better with your team.

I recently broke up with my gf of 2 months, and I was a bit confused as to how and why I felt the need to do it so quickly/early and why certain patterns of a past relationship reoccured. I never thought of applying the Myers Briggs stuff outside of the workplace but I actually have found it really useful for understanding myself, particularly as I'm a highly analytical type of personality and feel compelled to understand patterns and unlying themes in everything.

Take the test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp

When you answer the questions do it quickly and with your first thought on it, don't overthink it just use your natural response for best results.

While I wouldn't say that you shouldn't take it as gospel, it certainly has helped me understand my actions and desires a lot better. You can get more information about your personality type in relationships elsewhere on the net.

Hope it helps you as much it has me (although it's opened up another world of stuff to test + analyse). I'm an INTP btw.

Nice bro! I'm an INTP too... well borderline INTP/ENTP.
Introvert/Extrovert for me is 50-50
iNtuitive, Thinking and Perceiving on the other hand are maxed out.

I like Myers-Briggs, mainly because its based on Jungian principles, and Carl Jung was the most boss thinker/philosopher of the 20th century imo (not to mention a bonafide alpha DAWG).

From the description Im reading it seems like Im some kind of bad guy from 007 movies.

Well hope I'll be one of those who get the hot girls and the huge money before having his island/submarine/fortress drestroyed.

However I think this test reads people well enough.

I'm in that boat with you bro! LOL

People always tell me I somehow know how to manipulate them into getting what I want; people that know me well that is.... explains a lot about my interactions with women! hahaha

I've done this test a couple of times. I am a very warm, enthusiastic and loving extrovert. I think life is too funny and too short; people need to go out and spread their energy around.

I think we should have a poll on the personality types we have. By comparing the percentages we get to the percentages that occur in the average population, we could probably infer something about ourselves.

Wow 89 introvert, guess I like my alone time. Also apparently I'm very intuitive seeing as I like to read and analyze everything. Nice test.

I test as ENTP, although I've been mainly INTP in the past. I think breaking out of my shell, going to more parties and social gatherings, and realizing how much I hate being alone made me realize I was more shy than extroverted. I am quiet at times, but enjoy the company of other people and socializing.

There was a time where I even was INFP for a while. You can't really pigeonhole people into categories like this. Personality traits lie on a spectrum, not in either-or divisions.

I'm an ISTP, confirmed that a long while back via multiple tests and reviewing the different personality profiles as there is some overlap with INTP and INTJ. I got my girlfriend to take the test when we started dating and she's an ISFJ, which didn't surprise me as she's the caring and giving type who loves to please her man. :D
