I work for a large international company and they are great believers in the Myers Briggs personality tests to help you understand how you work best and how you can work better with your team.
I recently broke up with my gf of 2 months, and I was a bit confused as to how and why I felt the need to do it so quickly/early and why certain patterns of a past relationship reoccured. I never thought of applying the Myers Briggs stuff outside of the workplace but I actually have found it really useful for understanding myself, particularly as I'm a highly analytical type of personality and feel compelled to understand patterns and unlying themes in everything.
Take the test: http://www.humanmetrics.com/cgi-win/jtypes2.asp
When you answer the questions do it quickly and with your first thought on it, don't overthink it just use your natural response for best results.
While I wouldn't say that you shouldn't take it as gospel, it certainly has helped me understand my actions and desires a lot better. You can get more information about your personality type in relationships elsewhere on the net.
Hope it helps you as much it has me (although it's opened up another world of stuff to test + analyse). I'm an INTP btw.
