Last night I had dinner with two new friends I met through work. One is an attorney.

She admitted she used to be pretty promiscuous and that she'd fvck guys she just met if she found them hot.

They weren't quite as crass as OP but some would boldly ask very soon after meet if she was down to going back to his and fvcking (that word), and she would. She'd leave immediately afterwards and never saw him again.

She is a very cool high quality educated woman (imo), so yeah I now admit this does happen, perhaps more often even than some would believe.

And may have little to do with demographics or class. Her dad is a successful doctor.

Anyway, she just got engaged to her boyfriend of two years who she fvcked on first meet.

I’m as bold as that, but not as crass and never in the first exchange unless she looks/seems like a h0e. I’m usually more slower paced and my boldness a bit more organic. I still get the push back and defence that OP talks about on the initial bold move, whatever it may be, but usually with laughter/humour because as I say, I’m not as crass and usually tie humour in well with boldness, without humour you will get way more rejections as there’s no “out”.
