Talking about it feels like you're already handling it. This is very counterproductive. It's like having a goal and then telling it the wold. You feel like you're getting closer and making progress, but in reality you're just deceiving yourself.
I guess it solidifies what ive gone through.
She has told me for years how nuts i am for thinking she did anything but go home with gfs...
I guess.. it helps me get to where i need to be. It lets me know all the bs ive heard from her is ....bs.

So. Thats why im talking about it. To help me really know im not paranoid.. stuff shes told me for years

Thats true. Thx
You'll notice strength degradation if your in the gym. Scientifically complaining puts it on the forefront of your mind and it becomes something you focus on, or something always tugging at you slightly distracting you. Nearly impossible to be in the moment with such thoughts. Plus it affects your self image and energy. I gave you some things you can do while still shackled to her. But the sane and reasonable advice is to leave and cut ties.

Yes... To kerp saying it is literally bullshytting which is weakness. Almost like we're trying to convince ourselves or get enough outer approval which is still weakness. Alot of guys will get to the point of EVERYONE around thinks he should leave he hangs in losing respect from them and also his self image gets trashed.

While your in there. Ken doll it and fvck the shyt out of het while she's happy right now. But almost guaranteed she will be back at her pattern in the future.

Men frequently err by talking too much. They often monopolize conversations, droning on and on about topics that bore women to tears. They think they're impressing the women when, in reality, they're depressing the women.

But she 'vanished' from the bar, and then turned her phone off. And she allowed guys to disrespect you. What a great catch she is.

Everyone has giving you great advice. But it is only great advice if you take it. You have two options: start the process of exiting the relationship or continuing to allow her to treat you like **** - which she will. I see nothing but trouble with her in the future if you put up with it.
"Allowed guys to disrespect you"... She painted him as impotent compared to her "lovers".

Heres the thing im trying to come to terms with... this bar night she left was 16 years ago.
Since she admitted to leaving with the guys (which is recent) she always has said..." we werent dating really, we just went out"...and "it was b4 marriage"

She's trying to rationalize her behavior (having sex with them) and frame it as "not cheating". I bet she even believes it too. Otherwise she wouldn't stick to her narrative for 1 1/2 decades.

Yeah, I wouldn't believe her anything at this point anyway. You should definitely start initiating the divorce process. Your life will be a living hell in a couple of months/years. This will eat right through your soul and be a chip on your shoulder. You won't even be able to make the right decisions in other areas of your life because of this.

So what is it you want to happen? Do you want to stay in the unhappy marriage? Or do you want to leave her? People have given advice. It is now up to you to make the decision.
Im trying to figure out what to do. Ive been in it for so long and havent really been able to talk this in depth with anyone albeit anon..
So i apologize for being stupid...
Im just trying to navigate. Each persoective helps

If I could see you in person right now I would punch you in the chest. Her past behavior has been dragged right into your marriage. It's not a thing of the past. You saw past symptoms of a past and current sickness. You can't let this go.

She saw to what lengths she could go and push your buttons like in a ****pit. She doesn't respect you one bit man. I'm f*cking repeating myself for the 10th time now in a different color. Do you want to spend the next 20, 30 or even 40 years of your life with this f*cking witch of a woman?

Does your friends give you advice? if so, what do they think? You could seek a therapist to talk to. But you could be wasting your time as they may suggest to fight the marriage.
My buddiez cant believe it... ive talked to a few buddies i knew years ago when me and her were dating...
Trying to get clarity.
They moved to colorado 6 moths b4 we married. They didnt attend wedding.
I got mad at them.
Talked to them and they both said... they knew it wouldnt last. She was trouble. They trued telling me to stay away

U r right. This has been this way for roughly 20 years... and ill be a senior citizen with this same mindset. I guess. Ive always hoped she would eventually come clean... and we could really start over

What happens, IN HER MIND, is that she comes to see you as WORTHLESS simply because she hasn't had to INVEST anything in you in order to get you or to keep you.

You were an interesting diversion while she had nothing else to do. But now that someone a little more valuable has come along, someone who expects her to treat him very well, she'll have no problem at all dropping you or demoting you to lowly "friendship" status.

Time is limited man. Don't you ask yourself and wonder what you could do instead hanging around this sh*tshow of a marriage? Just imagine traveling the world and seeing all the beaches, mountains, big cities and sexy women out there. She cuffed you and is now living a secure life. That can't be it man. If your wife would be the perfect partner - loyal and always by your side whatever decision you make - it would be a whole nother story. But she won't change, ever. You're 40. You're in your prime. Do something with it.

If you decide to cut ties now, you'll be back on track in a year from now tops. And then you go and see what's out there for you. Never settle.
