My POF and Match Stats

I see that a lot of you guys are using these sources in addition to in-person gaming to pull off women, I wanted to list some of my stats that have been pretty consistent over the last two years. I started using Match in 2012 but just started POF this year:

#1.) Match

-> 8% to 9% of the women I send a note to, after light convo, I get their number. This is not the total number of women that respond though, I haven't really been able to track that number because it's hard to keep track of. While it's hard to estimate how many I noted, I would say I have to be converting about 10% - 12% to respondents. I think that's reasonable to project.

-> 35% to 37% of the numbers I get I convert to a date. Now, I have to put a note here. Some of the women I filter off myself because they have something that is just TOO MUCH for me to deal with such as way too many kids or their pictures don't seem consistent or she seems like a gold digger that just uses guys for "free dates" or something. This number most likely could be over 50% but comes down to about 35% after I filter off. I also filter off those that I feel aren't "feeling me" that much just from the vibes I get, I'm not trying to take chicks out anymore that aren't feeling me because as you know, these dates aren't cheap.

-> About 40% of the women I take on a date turn into some sort of short term relationship. This will be women that I just have sex with for some time and move on or women that we have sex and we form some type of actual relationship.


#2.) POF

-> 17% to 20% of the women I send a note to, after light convo, I get their number.

-> About 30% of the numbers I get I convert to a date.

-> About 40% of the women I take on a date turn into some sort of short term relationship.


#3.) Analysis

POF gets me more numbers but the quality comes out to be lower than Match. But POF is also free as well, while Match isn't. I mean you can be a POF member and not have to utilize the premium service.

I will say though, I'm a Black guy so just about 98% of my messages go to Black women, nothing wrong with other types of women I just prefer Black women for the most part.

I have heard that a lot of guys have trouble with Match and POF, what do you guys think of these stats? I can show you my profiles if needed, I showed guru in a previous thread.

I'm wondering if the reason I'm not having as many problems as other guys, is because I only target black women? Maybe on these sites they don't receive as many messages as a hot Asian or White chick would? Not sure. I DO know that I'm not some overly handsome guy, I am working on putting up some better pictures and guru said that right now I'm about a RAW 7....I honestly think I'm lower than that at about a 6. Once I updated my pics I think I MAX out at a 7.2 or 7.4, which is good enough and will allow me to get the flow of women I need to get.

I think they were stats for Okcupid but they found that black women are the ones who respond the most, send the most openers and get the least responses. White women by contrast were the most picky and unresponsive. Black men were also at a disadvantage but their best odds were with black women (who still prefered non-black men IIRC). That could probably explain it.

Yes, I agree. Even some of the white women I talked to on Match and POF that were decent looking (6 plus in looks) were just DIFFICULT as hell to get a conversation going.

I wonder why that is though? I mean I could understand with me being black, maybe they prefer men of their own race, but damn white men complain that they can't get shyt going with those chicks either. I mean they can't be getting THAT many messages?

im not really doing the online thing currently, but I did quite a bit of it on okstupid and match.
I didnt send many messages out, my tactic was this;

-wait for women to 'like' or 'wink' at me
-screen those women and send messages to the ones i found bangable.
-set up dates with said women, and escalate.

I banged just a hair over 50% of the women I went on first dates with from online. I am actually currently dating a girl that I met on match.

I never had much luck when I tried to send out messages to girls I was interested in.

I am tall, white, in good shape. My profile had minimal info and a few good pics. YMMV.

I've gotten by far a better quality of woman through Match.com than through PoF or OKC.

In fact, I've had none through OKC.

Match.com seemed to yield much, much better results for me. POF was just a breeding ground for flakes and women out of their league or fade-outs.

I just can't handle that junk.

But I also can't deal with Match.com's rate and the time it could take to flip a date sometimes.

I seem to have the most success through Meetup, to be honest. It's free, social proof, less pressure, no dating ambience, guards are let down...

I would not say black men have a disadvantage in my area. I'm on PoF and I'd say 10% of the profiles I read of white women say they want black men preferably or only. But I've yet to see one that says white men only. The fact of the matter is that there are a lot of black men with white women around here out and about

On the other hand. I would say close to half of the women who have messaged me first are black women. The black women I've chatted with are really nice and appreciative of my crude humor and don't seem to have their heads up their asses like the white women.

These idiot people at POF has banned my account with no email, no warning, no nothing. Obviously, I talk to a lot of women on that site and from time to time, I get into it with some of them when they are being flat out belligerent. But I get banned off of it while their profiles are still up?

I had a chick for example, I got her number off the website but I wasn't feeling meeting up with her. She said she was going to go and report me to POF for "wasting people's time" AS IF women don't do this shyt all of the time to guys. Maybe she was a part of me being banned? I don't know, I guess I will just try out OKC because I'm not about to be stressed out about this crap.

To them, it really doesn't matter what you think or what the case was. If they can please a female they will, because they're FAR more valuable to the site than you are.

It benefits POF to ban your account and any other guy. This way they can fraudulently boost their subscriber count and continue to promote themselves as the largest online dating "userbase". If they delete you 5 times and you re-join? They now have "six" extra members. If that happens to multiple dudes image the "expansion" so Marcus the sites owner can continue to milk his sleazy advertisers.

The site is completely geared towards women. They are the POF "harem" which is why they let them get away with dressing and posing provocatively etc. Marcus is like the sites pimp. Get the free hoes and attract the Joes. It is what it is.

You could have only gotten reported by ONE user and you're out. It makes business sense if you join again boosting the sites member count.

If you even REPORT a fake profile of a chick? YOU get banned as the fake profile serves the site as "advertisement" for new suckers.

If you use the same email, same worded profile, spam the same message too much without tweaking it, if some chick gets pissed at you for no reason.

If you use any word you may not be aware of that triggers the site to peg you as a sexual "predator" you get banned. It could even be the most innocent word.

Shirtless pic. Banned. If one whale reports you. (Women are allowed to get away with their own sh1t.)

If you get banned and use the same pictures, profile wording, or same copy and paste after being banned and the system catches up to you? Banned out of the blue. It makes business sense to them as you will re-join not knowing what you did and may re-join a few times. Again like I said. Men boost subscriber count and are fodder for the site. Women are in their own right as they serve as bait while the owner scams off his own sleazy advertisers whom he has no care to clean up just like he claimed in his P.R statement a year or so ago about "cleaning up the site" and of course blamed it all on men.

Marcus knows he's full of it. It's all about his $$$. Nothing more.

Yes, I think you are right man. I think that's foolish on their part because just like the Night Clubs, if you don't have men in there (and decent ones at that) the women will eventually get tired of the place and not come back anymore. Judging by the level of responses I got on there, I "at least" wasn't someone that the women didn't enjoy talking to, meeting, etc.

I'm going to see what this OKC thing is all about, I never used that before.
