Hey,

In the process of becoming a DJ, a month ago, I, with the help of niceguy91 on this forum, went out to American Eagle and basically changed the style of my clothes. I got some dark boot-cut jeans, an AE gray undershirt, a couple of button-downs, and a couple homestead sweaters. Also, my Mom is going to buy me a lighter color of the same jeans I got or something like that soon.
Right now, I am looking at buying some more apperal and just wanted your opinions. I am looking at getting three things really soon:
-A cap
-A watch
-A new belt
-Maybe some new cologne (current: http://shop.pacsun.com/webapp/wcs/s...ntCategoryId=10003&categoryId=13651&sortBy=0#)
A watch is pretty much what I want good advice for. I don't want to spend more than $100. The cheaper it costs, the better, but I also want it to be good quality and not cheap-looking. I am taking a look at this: http://www.amazon.com/Invicta-Diver...1_12?ie=UTF8&s=jewelry&qid=1200946746&sr=1-12

So, any suggestions? Thanks.

Accually a watch is what I'v been looking into getting also to wear when I'm dressed up. It just seems like its something that most younger guys don't have yet and it looks good and makes you look more mature.

The watch you showed is pretty close to what Im looking for, except I like the dark blueish backgrounds instead of the black since blue is a calm and cool looking color.

Yea the leather is an interesting look, I like the first one more than the second. Idk something about the square shape of it puts me off. I think I would still pick metal(I like the feel of the metal on my skin) over leather but still it wouldnt be a bad choice.

I think leather band watches look a whole lot better than the metal bands if your going for a casual or formal look. If you want to look formal i think the metal one is better. But i prefer the a black leather band.

I like:

For colognes I HIGHLY recommend
Eternity
Aqua Di Gio
Hugo
Lacoste
Cool Water
Hmm, thanks, but I never really considered leather-it doesn't seem as durable/long lasting. Plus, I am going for a look the ladies dig, so if leather is what the majority of them like, than that is what I will go with. As far as colognes, thanks for the list, but I'm not really experienced with cologne, I hardly wear the stuff. Is there a specific one in particular that isn't to pricey?

Thanks.

You could get Fierce from abercrombie and fitch, its one of the best colognes ive ever smelled and its around 30-40 bucks
All of the colognes i posted are around the 40-50 dollar range. They are quite expensive but worth it, becuase they all smell great. If your willing to spend that much money all the ones above are great. My personal fav. is Eternity :)

Yeah, walmart has brand name fragrances. You can definately go to Target and get brand name ones, all the ones i listed and more can be found there. Macys has all the colognes you could imagine. You dont have to go to the mall.

Heres a couple links that could help you out. PM me if you have other questions, or just post them here.

Every highschool kid wears american eagle. And Abercrombie and fitch. And Pac Sun.

Those aren't classy, they're manufactured "styles and culture" down to the way the stores smell.

Check out H&M, Express, Guess and your local outlets. Calvin Klein, Hugo, DKNY Jeans, A|X, Diesel, Nordstrom Rack etc. Most stores have their big sales after christmas and in July.

Aqua Di Gio is nice, but very, very played.

My current rotation is CK One, Attitude by Armani and L'instant de Guerlain.

Also very good: Gucci Por Homme II, Star Walker by Mont Blanc and Givenchey. (Go into your local Sephoras and find out what the women like.)

Spend the money on the cologne, you do get what you pay for.

Costco has GREAT prices on designer watches, (picked up a $2200 Gucci for $980)

Mind you, most of the stuff listed above isn't cheap, but this is the kinda stuff I wouldn't skimp on.

I have cool water, eternity, acqui di gio, graphite blue, lucky you, all curves, drakkar noir and a homemade cologne. Acqui is overused but if thats ok with you then its a guarenteed buy. Cool Water is cheaper and I get alot of comliments, although also used alot. Graphite Blue is unique and smells rly good, that is my recommendation. Id also buy 2, and if was to i'd get Cool Water and Graphite Blue.

I get compliments on my nixon watch all the time!
I wear my Nixon Manual ($100) casually.
and the Banks ($300) formally.
I LOVE the metal band, wear it in hot tubs, at the beach and any where else.
Looks fly.

I would sugest not wearing a cap, they definetly arnt my style, and Im yet to see someone who actually looks tight in one. (say for black guys)

Clothing is tough, but I like to look spiffy, I iron all my shirts, wear Seven and Deisel Jeans. I wear T shirts on ocasion, and like polo's, with a half **** collar. Am E is an alright start, and the manual by nixon is nice.
Colon is also a great investment, nice to see you lookin out for that.
A good hair cut can help wonders as well!

You may be able to find a clothing stylist, if you go to the right shops.
They will know the stores stock, and find the best clothing for you! You'll pay a bit more, but in the end you will ALWAYS look fly.
