Well, I did it. I finally got a date with the girl of my dreams. I met this girl back in my Freshmen year (I'm going to be a Senior this year), and the last time I talked to her I asked her if she wanted to go get some lunch or something like that, and she said yes. Thing is, we're both busy for the next week and half (I'm moving and her sister is getting married), so there have been no plans set in stone yet. So, I need some advice...

First though, some background info on this girl. First off, she is easily the most beautiful girl I've ever met. She looks a lot like Stacey Keibler, with a rack :D . Second, she's going through a bit of a lifestyle change at the moment (she's popular and is sick of hanging out with all the superficial *******s, hence the date with me) and third, I asked her out once way back when I first met her and got a 'no'.

Now, as I see it, this is my one shot at becoming something other than a friend with her. So, I was wondering what kind of restaurant you suggest I should take her too (fancy, casual), what I should do while on the date, and if we should do something after we eat.

Any advice??

I would go for the dinner date, but if you already asked her for lunch, then it's a good start nonetheless.

Nothing too fancy! But if I were you I would bring her to a place that you or she wouldn't normally go to. Perhaps a new restaurant, perhaps a restaurant that gets a good review in your newspaper (check the weekend newspaper, there are always nice suggestions).

I'd give her a "package"...go for lunch and then go to a movie or something (or a yard sale; I've heard that girls like that?)

dude calm down. Its not like you are gonna marry this gal. One of the better Doc Love articles talks about the 3 C's.

Confidence - first, dont think she is better than you. Know you are better than her. Never figit, look down or say 'dont know' as an answer. Look up, be confident about your decisions, dont be afraid to hold eye contact. Smile.

Control - you need firstly self control. Stop thinking she is beautiful. She is human, therefore has flaws. Stop thinking about sex, stop thinking about marrying her. Talk to her like your sister or girl cousin. The second you act nervous (especially with HBs) you fail the test. You have balls dont you? So act like a man. Be in control of the date. Choose where to eat, choose where to dance. Be a leader.

Charisma - looks get you set up for the 'interview', personality is what gets you 'hired'. MAke her laugh, eye contact, smile etc. Ask her questions BUT keep mysterious.

Take her to something casual. Only when its like the 5th+ date do you spend a significant amount of money.

ACK!

You already lose, dude.

Have you read the DJ Bible? If so, you are putting her on a pedestal that you'll never be able to reach. If NOT, I highly suggest you read at least this article before you go on a date with her. I really suggest reading the whole thing, but this is a start.

Pook - Kill that Desperation

The Don Juan Bible

And good luck...

Congrats on getting the date. When you're in front of her you're probably going to feel a little self-conscious and that's ok. My advice is just to be aware of that, and to try to be yourself despite of it. Be real with her, joke with her, mess around with her. Don't change yourself either way.

"So, I was wondering what kind of restaurant you suggest I should take her too (fancy, casual), what I should do while on the date, and if we should do something after we eat. "

None of that will matter. If she likes you the place you choose will be irrelevant. I prefer somewhere that is quiet, casual. Make her feel comfortable. Let the attraction take over itself.
