No way was this "the most AFC convo ever." AFCs say way more nice guy chump things than this. Even if some things were probably better left unsaid, depending on the vibe you had with the girl her feeling embarrassed could even work to your advantage (not saying this is definitely the case, but it can't be ruled out). I wouldn't be regretting this convo as much as you're regretting it, even if it's true that you could have done better.
