So after what happened the other night, I'm in need of some serious help. Another girl who I have/had feelings for told me that she couldn't see past my looks. I'd say she was a 7.5, and I'm like a 2 or 3. Later in the night she told me that the kind of guy I am is perfect for her and is a real turn on. Damn, any suggestions?

Well K.F, it doesn't seem like you need that much help. The girl has given you an IOI by telling you that "you're the guy for her". Although you may see yourself as a 2 or 3, she obviously doesn't or she wouldn't have told you that you turn her on. The only thing that you have to do now is keep your head on straight. Treat her like she's just another girl, make yourself a challenge and she'll be fiending. That's what I do.

ok. first - IT DOESN'T MATTER THAT YOU HAVE FEELINGS FOR HER.

it doesn't matter what you want. it only matters what you can get them to want.

so get over her. get out of that relationship and don't let yourself get into a "friendship" like that again.

never be in a situation where you're wondering if she "likes you" or not. no more.

always always always SIMPLY ASK THEM OUT. if they say no, you get an IMMEDIATE answer and you can move on without getting invested.

why are you a 2 or 3? describe.

there are LOTS OF THINGS that one can do. 2 or 3 is pretty bad and it means that you're not trying. why stay that way if you can change?

some here say that looks don't matter. i'm not of that opinion. unless you're filthy rich, famous, powerful, etc.

take thom yorke from radiohead, the guy is skinny as a rail and has a lazy eye but he can still score (married now)... lots of disenfranchised men look to him as their hero and idol and say, well if thom can pull it off with what he's got to work with, then i won't change... i can do it too!

but the critical difference is that he's a FAMOUS MUSICIAN!!!

(this is a mistake that many nerd guys make when they idolize famous nerds who succeed with chicks. they overlook the overriding factor that they're FAMOUS!)

if you're a regular schlub, you gotta do what you can to make the rest of the package as presentable as possible!
