I'll be brief. I'm 17. I'm handsome. But I'll I do is play video-games and go online during the weekends. Can someone help break these habits? I wanna go out and kiss girls and drink and party. I feel so retrained. You guys can even get in my ass about not doing anything (no homo). Video-games and **** you up

I was the same way....

I used to be fat and have no life. I've did a complete 180 since then.

You just need to get out and develop a social life.

It's all about balance. There's nothing wrong with playing videogames as long it's not the only thing that you do. Given your age you may have limitations but there are still avenues open to you which other people only wish they had a chance to do. And by the way, the fun doesn't have to stop once you hit 30 if you have half a personality.

My advice is to find something you always wanted to do. Then do it get help from people or get a job and help yourself. This will also help act dumb as hell in school and get a lot of attention. That way peeople will think you are cool I'm not kidding. I became really popular doing this. Dress nice if you dress poorly and you'll be liked a lot more an even invited to parties. This has happened to me. I made one mistake though I didn't go. Go get away during christmas cook do something you'll be amazed at how well people will treat you.

I was like that for the longest time too, but unfortunately I didn't realize it was a problem until well after 17. All the time I wasted. You just have to put the f*cking controller down and get out there. What do you want us to do, track you down and rip the nintendo cord out of the wall?

In fact, I could have totally written exactly your post when I was 17 (and for years after), except for not having the sense to. I wish I could go back in time and kick my ass into gear and forget about all the videogame sh*t.

love it while it lasts man. i wish sometimes i had more time for videogames and all that jazz. i went through the whole party and bar scene and sure it played a small role in my life and made a big hole in my wallet. if i missed out on those days it wouldn't bother me.

i don't know if it's a genetic thing about videogame addiction because i played the almighty world of warcraft and i could only play that game for an hour or two till it bored me. when i was around your age i played games like it was going out of style. maybe when you hit the age of twenty-somethings you'll grow out of it.

just hit the power button and head out into the world. the games will always be waiting for you when you get home.
