My Highschool Style Advice

This is what i wear, jacket= spider, leather, north face.
jeans= ripped, tighter ones
shirt= well actually i love tight ones,


actually everything i wear is ****y expensive, i mean spider **** is like 100$ a sweater 700$ for jacket, and i cant help but buy more..
Chiks look at what u wear very closely, not only them, buy guys also.. And if you got the right style u will be liked and mostly copied from other people. Most of the people dont know how to dress out there, and they depend on the ladies man, that has a style

Also the other thing, i see some chump walking around the school with big ass sunglasses that make him look like a terminator..ONce again... Dont buy sunglasses for a dollar. Buy good ones. and wear them on your hair when ur indoor ( there is no sun indoors).

Also make ur own style, dont copy others, dont be a follower, be a leader.

For all you nubs out there that don't know how to dress...

Listen to the guys in this post, they know their ****.

Dressing well is a big part of your appearance in high school.

The one point I have to bring up is price range....
There's a price range for good clothes. Take my advice or leave it, ill leave the style of the clothes to you, but if you go outside these ranges you'll look like a tard at school.

Pants(jeans, khackies): $75 - $175
T-shirt: $10 - $60
Hoodies: $60+ these things just keep getting cooler te more u pay, go all out.
Nice Longsleeves: +$75 if you go cheap in this, its hard to pull off looking good
Shoes: $50 - $150
Shades: $50+ dont buy cheap shades, people see through it(no pun)


Like everyone with brains is saying, you can pull off looking good in anything because its how you wear it. But If you don't spend much on clothes, it shows after a time, because cheap clothes wear out fast and tend to not fit to your body, etc etc. If you overspend, you come off as a tryhard or a fag and...if you can't talk the talk, frankly just dont walk the walk. Buy average priced clothes, if you buy under it will hurt you in the long run, if you buy really expensive threads you have to have the attitude to match.

tip on matching:

if you can, wear same color shirt and shoes (ex: blue shirt/ blue shoes, with jeans or whatever)

and wearing stuff really depends on your body, skinny/tone people should wear something fitting, but more on the tight side. if you are fat, then wearing stuff like that will just make you look weird.

agreed with poster above, hoodies definetely just get better and better the more they cost, your shoes should not cost you less than 50 dollars, unless you're getting slip ons(40). jeans and khakis can slip down a bit ithink, 75$ is over doing it. you can get nice levis for under 75 dollars, but if you want diesel jeans, and se7en jeans, and the expensive levi's are REALLY nice.

nice long sleeves i think you can pull off with 40 dollars or more, any lower and you mind as well not buy them at all.

with what the op says, i think the only good looking polo are mostly solid color polos, all those stripes on a polo look whack imho.

one last thing, i would suggest stop shopping at walmart etc if you can afford it, only reason you should buy anything at stores like those are for inside shirts, like wifebeaters, clean white tee shirts, etc, for example, their hoodies are ok the first time you wear it, after you wash it you mind as well just throw it away it looks ****ty.

There's nothing wrong with wearing all one color. There's nothing wrong with matching.

I might get chewed out by the guys on this board, but Last night I unveiled my new look for a little test run. And it went over GRRRREEEATTT!! To give a small break down of it Button down shirt, blazer, and ... blue jeans... Nice but relaxed. It was a beautiful mix and Definetely my new style. I got TONS of compliments!! I even threw on a hat (ballcap) Still looked Fresh!! The compliments flowed in and my confidence and Ego shot threw the roof.

here's a tip. go out with a female friend, or ur sister, any female close in age with u. anyone but ur mom, cuz they'll pick out gays ass clothes that nerds where. anyway, go out with them and have them help u pick out wat looks good on u. believe me, if u have a girl telling u wat looks good on u, then the other girls will like it too.

Whether you like him or not, he's making more money than you. He probably came from a harder life than you. He made local music for a decade, then got on MTV. I have a white shirt, white dress pants, and if I had a white pair of dress shoes, I'd wear those too. Hell I even toss on my white hat, and it looks FRESH.

hey mr-suave-man: not everybody goes out in public CASUALLY wearing DRESS CLOTHES.

i'd wear one color too (with the exceptions of a different colored tie) if i were DRESSING UP for a special occasion. but were not talking about that are we? NO... were talking about school.

what i'm trying to say is, make sure your top matches with your shoes, you do NOT want black shirt/ white shoes or vice versa, the blue was a bad example, i should have said black shirt/shoes and jeans. and even not, how do you know i didn't mean black jeans :rock:
