Whether it was his fault or not we don't know because he didn't give us the whole story. Nonetheless, the point here is don't get back with her after such conduct. If he wants to date other women - she can date other men.
I'd bet she either never went out with this guy - or she did and nothing happened.
Why?
Because she's known this guy for a while - so she new that it would be easy to get back at Legend by telling him she went on a date with dweeb boy.
