Prerequisites (She shows buying signals):
1) She must make eye contact.
2) She must smile or say hello.
Your Pickup Line:
1) "What is your name?" (you hold eye contact while asking this).
2) (She tells you her name). This is guaranteed.
3) Pause.
4) At this point she WILL ask your name if she is interested. If she doesn't ask your name, don't volunteer it. She is 90% not interested (yet) and she will only forget it anyway.
(Assuming she asks your name, you are 50% toward getting a date, proceed).
5) (You tell her your name).
6) (Ideally) she will extend her hand (you do not extend yours first). If she extends her hand you are 75% there. Take the opportunity to hold her hand for a moment and hold eye contact, repeating her name ("Nice to meet you Sally"). They want a firm handshake. Don't crush it, but take it strongly enough that if she fell you would catch her.
(You can proceed either way but hopefully she extended and you shook her hand).
7) Ask her things about herself (How long have you worked here, where are you from, etc).
8) She should ask you things about yourself. If she does you are 85% there.
9) (Optional) Pay her a small compliment. You like her shirt, etc. Nothing sexual.
10) If she pays you a compliment you are 99% there. Now it is safe to ask her to get together (you may want to wait until the subsequent visit if she is a bartender or someone you can see again, but you have established repore).
11) I usually ask "Are you single?" at this point, but your favorite line works here.
You really can't get rejected this way, but you definitely can show your boldness. I was 4 for 4 with this strategy yesterday (mostly bartenders and store clerks in NYC where I don't really know anyone).
Try this and let me know how it works.
