For those of you that remember my threads, my last girl and I got in a big fight and I told her not to ever talk to me again and I left it at that. That was like 10 days ago and I haven't talked to or seen her at all, just like I wanted. (I also found out like 2 days later that she had had sex with some dude 2 weeks BEFORE we broke it off).

Well, today is my birthday. I come home from an outing and low and behold, there is a card in my door. It was asimple little birthday card from Lauren, the cheating ex. It said at the bottom "Yours truly, Lauren."

So, I called her up and thanked her for it cus I thought I should atleast thank her and then I said 'well, I just wanted to tell you I got it and thank you, bye."

She doesn't know that I know she cheated on me. I was just wondering if I did the right thing? Was it rude/wrong of me to be so short with her?

In all actuality, I wish she hadn't gotten me the card and hopefully she will not do things like this in the future. I just want to be rid of her forever.

Dude, let her go... You're continued attachment to her is making you nutsy over a piece of cardboard. Think about it....

Guilt trip warning. It's a manipulative trick to clear her conscience and keep you as her little lapdog to feed her ego when she's down.

You shouldn't have thanked her for it as she had selfish motives to sending it.

lol that's funny.

She cheated on you and you're worried about being rude by cutting the conversation short.

She didn't even deserve any acknowledgement. The positive of this is that you were polite (moreso than she deserved) but you stayed fairly strong too.

Now is time to just leave the whole thing alone on that friendly note.

Here's what you do:

1) Go on the net and find a pic of a man and a woman fvcking.

2) Copy and paste to Word, landscape page format.

3) Inside the card, write "I know." Print, fold in half.

4) Place it outside her door.

Wait for her reaction.

Hello JcKey

Just forget about her. She is out of your life so just let it go. You are twisting yourself up in a pretzel and making bad blood for nothing. Learn to let go.

Though funny, the suggestion to give a her funny card is all spite for nothing. Just let go and let bygones be bygones.

If she writes you again in the future. Do not respond. If she ever calls you, tell her that everything is over in your mind and you do not want to talk to her again. Ignore her.

The range of possibilities for which she is writing to you are endless, but don't encourage it. Ignore her.

And! Don't talk about it to your new girlfriend!

I wouldn't have rung her up.

It will show her you don't give a **** ...which hopefully you don't if she cheated on you!
