My boy kind of screwed me

One of my good friends has a female roommate that I have been messing around with.

He dated her many years ago and now they are roommates (along with his current g/f...figure that one out).

This chick was starting to seem like she wanted a boyfriend, and I ain't going there, so the other night at the club I asked my friend if it was cool that I was hooking up with this chick, and I also told him that I was worried that she might be wanting a little more than what I am willing to give.

It turns out that a couple of days later, my friend went to the chick and told her what I said! In a way it's good, cause now she knows where I stand, but on the other hand now that she knows this she is using it to erect an even higher anti-slvt wall.

Tonight I was at her house watching a movie. When the movie finished she asked me to come lay down with her in her bed. I told her I had to go but I would stay for a few minutes. As soon as I started kissing her she went into the whole "I thought you just wanted to be my friend" gig.

I'm sure I can still get laid out of this deal eventually, but by him telling her this it looks like it set me back a bit. Kind of fukked up my buddy would say this to her, eh?

I bet your buddy thought he was doing you a favor. I bet he doesn't visit sosuave and isn't nearly as analytical with his game as most of us are. Actually, and I don't know the guy, I'm sure he told her due to a lack of game knowledge, not an attempt to sabotage your chances. After all, he lives with a current girfriend and an ex. That's nuts!

She thinks she knows what you're all about now. As you implied, it's a minor setback. You're a smart guy STR8, you know how to handle this... "You obviously misunderstood. When I said friend, that's guy code for take off your panties." (proceed getting her naked)

You cannot change anything about what already happen. Moreover, even if you go back in time, you could not change anything. You buddy would tell her that crap anyway.
So why to worry about something you cannot change, cannot learn from? I would think about it if you had some control over it, but the situation simply did not give you any.

"..you just wanted to be my friend" Thats hilarious. It is a typical chick's test, whether you really want her or not. Regroup and get persistent with her again. This is what she expects from you.

Yea, but when I told him I should have also let him know that although I don't want a relationship, I wouldn't mind getting laid.

I think he took it as me saying that I didn't want much of anythng to do with her. Oh well, what's done is done.

This just sucks, cause typically I wait until AFTER I have gotten a piece of ass to break the LJBF line. By that time it doesn't matter, she's hooked. But now I might have to backpedal a bit since I basically gave handed her a truckload of extra bricks to build that anti-slut shield even higher!

Think about it. Women are alwasy looking for ways to avoid accountability. They are willing to do all kinds of crazy sh!T as long as they can rationalize to themselves that they "had no choice" or "didn't know any better". This is a classic example. If she wouldn't have found out that I DON'T want a relationship, she could have fukked me on the pretense that a relationship was possible. That would justify her giving it up. Now that she KNOWS I don't want a relationship she can't hide behind "I didn't know any better" to avoid feeling like a cheap ho.

It's cool though....she's still inviting me into her bedroom to "lay with her for awhile" at 3am, so I'm pretty sure I'm not out of the game yet

Good work my friend--you're still in the game! Be sure to tell your friend next time: "don't let this get back to the chick, but...." If the info gets back to the chick, whoever she happens to be, he's ****blocking ya. Better yet, just don't tell him your dealings with any chicks from here on out. When it comes to mating, people get jealous and bitter, and often will do this to their friends as well as their enemies, consciously and unconsciously. That's the reality, and you have to get used to it.

As far as the chick's LMR (last minute resistance) just go do something else for a while, check your email on the computer, get up for a drink, whatever, while she just lays there until she comes back to you. Don't appear upset, but let her instigate or re-instigate some action.

Exactly why would his buddy be jealous when he has his own live in gf that he bangs on a regular basis??


STR8UP: Your right it definitely was fuvked up of your buddy to tell this chick that information but you can still get what you want out of this situation. Your in the lead here, she's playing catch up, don't let her win.
