e part that worries me, I never told her I want a girl friend but she used that as a way to try and motivate me to try and be more independent of my parents.

How can she tell that I want a gf, when I never talk about it, and I never even hint at it. Can other girls tell, thats the part that worries me, is if other girls can sense it if my aunt could. Is it possible?
Hahaha dude, that is your insecurities speaking. People aren't clairvoyant, unless you act really needy in front of girls they have no way of knowing.

Your aunt knows that every guy wants a girlfriend.

Why is it so important for you to hide this fact?

Dude, I can't help you, but you have to realise you need stop being such a wuss. You need to go out and get what you want, not care what others think, be strong. That doesn't necessarily mean that you shouldn't live with your parents, but it seems a symptom of your problem.

If you want a girlfriend, for instance, you need to be open and okay with this fact. If someone thinks you are a freak for wanting a girlfriend, then they aren't anyone you care about.

Does this prospect scare you? No. Make it EXCITE you.

Yeah you should move out. Don't even get roomates, or if you do: make it a goal to reach a point where you don't need them. The sooner you live absolutely alone, the sooner you become a man. Even if you hit rockbottom living alone, you should CONTINUE to live alone. Pay your dues.

On the other hand, make sure you make enough money for breathing room or have a handle on finances so you don't end up moving back in within the first year.

Also, Your sig is very true, did you come up with it yourself?

I would add to it:

"With girls, confidence is not the same as thinking you cannot fail, it is not thinking about failure at all.

With your carpayment you'll be better off knowing you cannot fail to pay it."

: )

You're old enough to move out, but you sound 12. What's the deal here? I think your aunt has a point with you needing to grow up. Not trying to be rude, just honest opinion. Anyway, she knows because it's Law. Not one human being alive truly wants to be all ALONE. Whether marriage, relationship, casual sex or friends, EVERYONE wants to have SOMEONE. It's our nature. And yes, girls can tell, because they want exactly the same thing, but much more so, because men are more independent and women tend to be weaker and more reliant on other people. Which is alright, because personally, i love taking care of them and letting them take care of me in return :)
