i have bad skin, not extremly bad, its not really as bad as some peoples, its not very noticable unless you get close up...you can see how terrible it is.

my nose has so many blackheads (you couldnt know they where there unless i told you) i can squeeze it and puss will come out just about anywhere on my nose. on some of them there is like always a little puss comeing out but again its hardly noticable... same with to teh right and left sides of my nose.

i get red spots and white/blackheads on random parts of my face pretty commonly.

my skin is so oily, after ten minutes of washing it, it will re[develop another sheet of oil on my skin, its so greesy, and it feels disgusting when i touch it.

ive tryed clearsil and products liek that, nothing...ive tryed face masks.....i drink alot of water, i hardly eat junk foods, i have a health diet, still doesnt help me...acne.org...still didnt help me

ive had girls blow me off when they feel my face...im a very good looking guy, but my skin just kills my self confedince....im only 18, its ruined alot of my highschool, i refuse to wait until im in my mid 20s for it to clear up naturaly. i just wanna live my life and not be self consious about my skin...if it wasnt for my skin i feel like i could be getting ***** 24/7.....

please, what the **** do i have to do......i dont know if i have the money to see a dermatolagist (i dont know what it costs on average to see one), i dont have the money for accutane (dont know or think its covered in health insurance).....my doctor perscribes me this **** benzoel poroxide everytime i ask her about it that doesnt work at all....

please....as i said.....my god

when i was 16,17 i had horrible acne i would cry

one girl told me to stop growing acne on my face. i never told anyone this till now because it hurt me so much when she said it.

ever since i was 18 my face cleared up and to this day its perfect. never get any more pimples, and no redness. i have a good complexion.

what did i do? accutane. im sorry that this may not be an option for you, but i tried EVERYTHING and its the only thing that worked.

some tips: don't SCRUB ur face really hard, use dove soap

what i currently use now (yes im still on medicine to make sure no pimples come out, and to get rid of the 1 pimple i may get once every 4 months.):

A special soap for my skin in the morning
A cream to put on my nose for the blackheads/shine
tazorac AND acnemyacin (both creams) at night on the areas that need it

I havent been using these medicines as much anymore... just when i need it

Good luck with that, I'm nearly 20 and I've had acne since I was 15.
Average-noticeable acne. Not horrible or anything.

It's on its way out though.
Have tried everything except pills, not going to do that.
Take that, spots!

i've had terrible acne since i was in 6th grade, and i've taken countless perscriptions that did nothing, and antibiotics that did nothing. i went to a dermo and they put me on their custom products with other perscriptions which didnt do much so i started getting facial peels (minor surgeries). the peels just put a ton chemicals on ur face that burn away layers of skin. after about 6 of them my face got a bit better but it started to get really dry and irritated. i dont get those anymore but i am on solodyn 75mg and a custom product my dermo makes and this is keeping my acne at bay, tho somedays its worse than others. my dermo also told me that diet has nothing to do with acne, but maybe she was just talking about me because so many products didnt work

For me, the sun seems to clear up my acne. During the summer my face is clear (and tan), but during the winter I get a lot of break outs. Try going to a tanning bed, it might help.

the sun doesn't clear up your face, it just makes it tan so the color of your face blendes in with the red pimples.

I think I would know if my face is pimple free or not.

Sunlight is Nature's healer. It clears up acne and affects, among other things, your metabolic rate and testosterone levels.

Go out in the sun as often as possible. :D

Accutane should only be used in severe cases of acne. thechallenger talked about the depression, but Accutane may also have harmful effects on your liver. Not to mention the chapped lips and ultra sensitive skin.

Benzoil peroxide should do the trick.

Too much sun will only irritate your skin; this isn't good for acne. Wear sun tan lotion.

Man has been living and evolving under the sun for over a million years. The precautions this primitive being took was to avoid the heat of the sun(10am-2 or 3pm), just as all animals do.

This simple precaution limited man to only ~3 hours of sunlight in the morning and ~3 hours of sunlight in the evening, when the sun's effects are lessened.

Need for modern band-aid solutions(sun block, sun cream, zinc, etc) is unnecessary when common sense is applied.
--
Since moving to Oz, where the sun is much stronger than Canada, I've noticed that most animals do indeed disappear in the middle of the day. Most of the locals do too, leaving the ignorant tourists to get baked alive :D
--

I too notice the good things that sunlight does to my complexion, after coming from an urban jungle life where I was lucky to see the sun even once in a day.

Sunlight will get rid of acne but will also prolong post-acne redmarks and increase the chance of scarring.

You may also want to change your diet. Acne is greatly influenced by what we put in our bodies. Most people often overlook the diet factor and only concentrate on external cures.

Honestly, I went through the exact same thing as you man, took 5 months of accutane and haven't looked back since, it WILL cure it if you take enough.
I believe you can still pick it up at http://www.chemoneresearch.com , msg me if you need help with dosing information.
