Hey guys,

One of the girls in my current stable is a Muslim. This is the first time I have dated a Muslim girl. What r ur experiences with them, or can any of u Muslim guys give me any advice?

(so far I can gather real strict family etc). ??

ok, well here is the thing. She is real nice, HOT, but most of all bought up with awesome values (in the sense of not cheating etc), because according to her cousins if a woman cheats in their country (Jordan), she is killed.

This girl wants to be serious, as would I after a few more months of getting to know her (if all goes good). Although she would prob want to get married (although I aint looking to do that for a LONG time and aint looking nearly that far into the future yet).

I simply want to know what to expect, is there anything I should be careful of, or do different? As I imagine there definately is, as their culture (religion), is TOTALLY different to christianity and western society.

As for getting her into bed, I get plenty of that anyways and am not concerned with that presently.

I'm Arab. Not muslim but half my family is.

One thing you need to know about muslim girls is that most of them don't bone until marriage. In fact, a lot of them are very closed to even touching, and ass-grabbing. I admire those values because in our current society, it's very hard to remain a virgin before marriage, and a lot of muslim women do.

However, many muslim girls still have sex before marriage, it just depends how serious she takes her religion. Her being from Jordan gives you a 50-50 chance in my experience.

Besides that... They're just like every other chick.

BMW, I never said I had no morals. I dont have any girlfriend, just a lot of different girls who I date, fukc around with, see when Im bored etc. I want someone loyal and honest in the long run however, and I would also be loyal and honest in the long run (I hope, I will try my best ).

I mainly just wanted to know if u need to treat them differently, show more authority etc. Its only early stages, so Ill see what happens.

I was tryin one time to pickup this muslim chick from work. Um... she was new employee that day and I walked up to her, said hi, did some ****y and funny to her... and she was really in to me.

Later during the day, she was in a "flirtatious" mood... and when we talked during breaktime, I learned she is already married. Omg... 22 years old... and told me she got married at age 19. And told me its an arranged marriage.

Me and my other officemates were havin a conversation in the breakroom about relationships and past girlfriends.

One Muslim woman in her 40s smiled and tried to get in the conversation... And so I asked her how many boyfriends she had before marrying her husband.

She said: "We do not do boyfriends. I just married the man. I was in Bangladesh and he was in the Middle east..."

And then she kept talking. And sooner, she mentioned that she didnt even meet that guy yet and she married him. Their first meeting was the wedding day itself.

For Christian girls... most of the time, they're not really hardliners or really into their religion... and when it comes to marriage, Christians are normally more open and do not force the issue of converting to Christianity to marry. They're the ones who are more likely to convert...

Well as a muslim who has lived in the middle east as well as the west I would say that the rules of Dj really still do apply....with some modifications obviously.
For instance Kino, maybe she wont be so open to it
And if she says she cant call because the relatives will get suspicious SHE MEANS IT. e.t.c
If you are the type of guy who follows rules and all maybe this chick is not for you,cause her reluctance will drive you crazy, but if you are flexible which i think is what D.J got to be then you might get to pop some real cherry, which in the west will probably be accompanied with hurricanes over the desert.

People assume arranged marriages are the only ones happening in the muslim world. They are not as common as everybody thinks they are. What happens is that the family introduces the couple to each other and they take off from there (they are not forced to say "I do" at gun point).

Muslim girls have boyfriends but not by the western definition where sex is part of the deal.

So what if muslims girls don't spend their youths ****ing every man that crosses their path and have decency and self-respect, is that really a bad thing?

Neobrood, your stories are similar to ones I have read. I heard about that Iraqi and US marine, and I have heard of situations similar to the ones you have stated.

Senza, that is more of the info I wanted to hear. The little small differences. Plus I am very flexible, so that wont be a problem.

Dictatorsaurus, I agree. However I was wondering about seriously dating this girl. Because like I said, many stories I have heard have been similar to those of neobrood. I mean, I dont want to waste my time with this girl, if there is no chance of anything serious to come out of it, and I aint converting. Do u think in the long term this is pretty much a lost cause.......?

No one can tell you if this is a lost cause or not. But then again, aren't all relationships that don't end with long term marriages a lost cause?

Take it slow, get to know this girl. If you're fair and honest, you have nothing to lose in the long run.
