Yeh i work as a DJ at the RnB and Hip Hop clubs here.
im part of a worldwide DJ group that has working relationships with record industries and artists.

The record industry will release the track to us first as soon as the first cut is produced.
The DJs then rate the track and production quality. and if necessary the artist will do a second version or rework the first.

Also the DJs are presented with a poll where we get the option to rate the track as in, If we will play this track at a club? a house party? or trash it?
depending on the vote the artist can decide what track from the album they will release first. for example, TI's Whatever you like from the new album Paper Chase was decided on by this group.

The DJ group is a worldwide movement and involves members into the thousands. However membership is difficult to attain as you need to get recommended by the club you mix at. they also contact your club to provide details about you etc.

anyway hope that helps. i got a whole bunch of new tracks that im listening to..something like 30 top pick tracks a day new that i pick out of 150+ that get listed..

Yep, though for the most part women like this kind of music.

Personally i love EDM (trance, house, prog..etc.) but i got no problem getting jiggy to other types.

TBH neither do i, and i wholeheartedly agree that the master list we've got here of music is great for most girls.

But it all seems a little less... chaotic is really the word i'm looking for when you're hopped up on E and you're trying to keep up to a pulsating beat.

i rarely bother with music other than my personal preferences now anyway. Though i'm tempted to make a few 'loving' mix cds or mp3s of the mentioned songs
