So my favourite vertical pulling exercise is underhand lat pulldowns, i.e. pulldowns with a chinup grip.
Are these pulldown machines made for tall people btw? I'm pulling more than my bodyweight so I have to put weights in my pockets and then kinda dangle off the bar until I fall into a sitting position, lol![Smile :) :)](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
But anyways, I have to grip quite hard on these, and after a set my hands almost feel like they're cramping up a bit. The next day I get DOMs in my hands as well as the expected muscles. The DOMs is in the "muscle" below my little finger.
Basically the questions are, am I actually working the muscles in my hands, or is there another explanation for this?
Also, depending on the answer above, is it possible that my hands could get a bit bigger?![Big Grin :D :D](data:image/gif;base64,R0lGODlhAQABAIAAAAAAAP///yH5BAEAAAAALAAAAAABAAEAAAIBRAA7)
Strange topic, I know, I've just never seen anything about it...
cheers.
