"Chasing Mavericks" brought me to my knees, so to speak. At his young age, Jay Moriarty lived his life the way we should all aspire to. Come to think of it, a movie was never made about Eddie Aikau, but the same goes. Maybe more. The man saved hundreds of lives as a lifeguard. He was simultaneously humble yet intensely proud of his heritage. He died in the pursuit of both. The very definition of A Man.

Live like Jay. Eddie would go.

The ending of Requiem For A Dream. Don't want to spoil too much, but my god...I saw this in the theater and I was such a mess that I had to wait until the credits ended before I walked out. Didn't want my girl at the time to see how sensitive I was.
